How do you successfully do the alley oops? I have had a clear path and everything and they miss the dunk 90 percent of the time, so what is the key to be successful doing this?

get a guy close to the hoop and throw it up. usually for me it doesn't matter if there is a guy blocking i still throw it up and slam it home. i'd say they work 75% of the time for me.Teams:

After playing this game for a week, I finally figured out how to throw an alley-oop. It seems to me that certain guys are obviously much better at it. I don't know if there is a better combination than Jason Kidd/Kenyon Martin in this game!Comment

Press the button to bring up the Direct Pass icons and then HOLD DOWN the Fastbreak/Alleyoop button...It'll always attempt an alleyoop...but it's NOT always successfulComment

you don't need to press Pass icon button.
Just have a guy near or cutting to the hoop and hold white and it will attempt it.
