Press the button to bring up the Direct Pass icons and then HOLD DOWN the Fastbreak/Alleyoop button...It'll always attempt an alleyoop...but it's NOT always successful

you don't need to press Pass icon button.

Just have a guy near or cutting to the hoop and hold white and it will attempt it.

            Re: alley oops

Seems to me they are more successful when the guy has a REALLY open lane ot the hoop (IE fast break) and as well when the passer is somewhat close to the basket - oops from the 3 pt line are rarely successful.

Has anyone tried doing oops when you are controlling a guy WITHOUT the ball? Move your player into position and press the alleyoop button. It's pretty fun on the easier skill levels.

One other fun thing I figured out in Practice Mode....Go to the 3pt line at the very top of the arc and press dunk. You will float a teardrop up that will most likely hit the back of the rim. Then run forward and press the rebound button. If you time it right you will do a put-back jam, and it feels exactly like an oop to yourself off the backboard (even if it's off the back rim). Once I got the timing right I can do it everytime unless I get a bad bounce off the rim.

I have been trying my a$$ off to do this in-game when on a fastbreak. I've been close but haven't done it yet. I'm gonna keep trying though, can't wait to bust that out on someone online.
