Advantage IMO Live has over 2k4

Okay I bought both games today and I lovem both. I think they are both about the same IMO and are both extremely fun to play. 2k4 graphics are jaw dropping while Lives are good. Overall 2k4 kills in the praphic but I am comparing my slam mag w/ Melo on the cover to Lives Melo and 2ks Melo and Live has it perfect. That is the one face that is bad on 2k4 cause they made his face to long while live has the correct short baby face for him. I love Live and I love 2k4 and I love Basketball!!!! Great Day

I picked up ESPN today as well, and I have to say after playing a few games, that I'm feeling Live this year! I don't know what it is...it just has a better feal and a better atmosphere? ESPN kills it in the graphics department though, their tat's and faces are flat out impressive. However, something about the gameplay just leaves a blah taste in my mouth? It is definitely better than 2K3, but still lacking something that Live managed to capture this year? Maybe it is the 10 man mo-cap...I don't know? I'm starting to think about getting Live for the PC and playing with all the patches people make. I'm thinking I'll return ESPN for March Madness when it comes out. It may grow on me, but I just wasn't as wowed as I thought I would be. Just my honest opinion...

Man--you start playing Live on PC--it'll be hard to come back. I tried live 99 PC--and I've always favored the PC game over the console game. I can't wait for the PC version to come out.

Same here, its something bout live, It has to be the 10 man mo cap (which will be the staple for all basketball Vid games from now on)but dont get me wrong I like espn but I dont know.

Those sliders in live make all the difference in the world, yeah 2k4 gots the graphics but the gameplay is what brings me back. And right now--Live's gameplay is really solid.

Man, I rented Live 2004 from blockbuster for the PS2 (they didn't have the Xbox version) and the sliders are DEEP. I used Pared's sliders with a few adjustments, and I'm getting really great games. I'm definitely getting this game for the PC. I'm planning on getting ESPN NBA Basketball and ID 2004 for the XBox though. I'm just hoping ESPN NBA Basketball is a lot better than NBA 2k3 and plays a good game of basketball this time around.

I'm definitely getting this game for the PC. I'm planning on getting ESPN NBA Basketball and ID 2004 for the XBox though. I'm just hoping ESPN NBA Basketball is a lot better than NBA 2k3 and plays a good game of basketball this time around.
