Not sure if anyone mentioned this or not. When the computer dives for a loose ball, if he is controlling a headier(smart) player, they will call a timeout if they are headed out of bounds. If it is a second string player, he is more likely to slide right out of bounds with it.

As for the switching hand layup, I am not sure if it is the same as the MJ switch, but I have seen a number of players change hands while doing a layup.

One more suble thing I notice about this year live, well maybe not so subtle, is that I have not seen that annoying jumping out of bounds while throwing the ball animation from 2003. Players use to drive me crazy doing that when they were no where near going out of bounds.

Hi. I had always been planning on getting Live for the PC this year. I got espn nba basketball and am sorry to say that I'm just not all that thrilled with it... I gotta say that reading this thread has really made the wait for the PC version tough! I did have a couple questions though, how are the jump shot animations, and also, how about the swish animations? Does the ball goes in at an angle like a real shot or does it just approach the rim at arc and then stop and drop straight down. If you've played any of the 2k games you'll know what I mean. Anyway, great thread. This game sounds great!

I just notice that when shooting free throws, if the player is a poor free throw shooter, not only do the lines move alot faster; the box on the backboard is about half the size it is for a good free throw shooter.
I play on Superstar and have free throw difficulty. set to 90.
