Overall I like your sliders for CPU games, the game had a really good flow.

Good slider man I think I found my cpu-vs-cpu slider thanks

<hr /></blockquote><font class="post">Glad you like em,I've made a few updates. I notice you havw too many steals try STEAL ABILITY 28, INT ABILTY 48, SHOT BLOCK ABILTY 10,DUNK vs LAY-UP BLOCK 32,FREESTYLE 20,DUNK FREQ 7 at seven you still get DUNKS but a bit more spectacular when they come every now and then there are dunks and there are spectacular dunks. OFFENSE REBOUNDS 100, DEFENSE REBOUNDS 50, FAKEOUT 58, SHORT RANGE 31,MED RANGE 38,LONG RANGE 25,LAY0UP PCT. 42,ADJUST SHOT PCT.20, ADJUST SHOT FREQ 15,ON-BALL DEFENSE 80-75 here you got to watch the bouncing off,you want tight but too tight and you bounce like 3-7 feet backwards I use 77 but adjust to your liking POOR REALEASE SHOT PCT.19, DOUBLE TEAM 29-31 to much of this and you come up with a steal every time, with it just right you get more on court ball play.Oh by the way I used the PRESS CAMERA. Also the INJ and FATIQUE seem to work hand in hand in determining players ability I use FATIQUE 68,INJURE 56. So try the updates and do this turn the players volume up and listen to them and the coach talk they make sense turn every eles down a bit they sound cool,If I come up with anything eles I'll let ya know oh yeah use SPEED 30 you'll see a lot more don't forget to SUB% 39 its very very important any questions let me know. If you leave the setting on dynamic the teams will play to their strengths and according to the preset playstyle. The will also mix it up. if u change the setting to something else they will run that play u set for them whether or not it is their playstyle.

Re: Where are the CPU vs CPU sliders?

Just a few thoughts and explanations about CPU vs CPU sliders, the ones I've been working on are subject to change. So to start the STEALS slider is set at 28 becaue I feel the game has enough AI of its own to do this so 28 for me keeps it at a reasonable pace as not to do too much or too little for a true NBA game. The INT ABILITY was set at 48 because the players seemed to do a lot more attempts for the ball without actually steeling it, I see more scrambles for the ball and near picks also the commentation of the game lets you know that you're really hustling for the ball which results in a stat called HUSTLE POINTS if you do come up with the ball and get points off of the play, also it could result in some FASTBREAK points another stat to consider and the overlay displays these if they are successful.I notice a high number of blocked shots by the CPU so I set the SHOT BLOCKS to 10 they will still block shots, but its still a work in progress to keep the CPU on pace with this so 10 was a safe number to me. DUNK vs LAY-UP BLOCK I set to 32 because I felt not every shot goes in some are BLOWN at the basket and this happens in real games, some shots are blown due to a bad play or player being too tired to perform or just good HUSTLE by the defense in any case I thought these settings represented a truer style of NBA play. The FREESTYLE I posted earlier that I felt this was a matter of style, well it is and again it isn't. Its like this,if the player has a rating that says he's a good ballhandler, passer, dribbler then its up to him to perform based on his rating combined with his style of play. I'm sure Kevin Garnett plays a different game when at the old playground court in the hood ala STREETBALL. But hey if you got game then by all means BRING IT,FREESTYLE at 24 works fine for me not too much FLASH and not too BORING as too make you not want to WATCH. The DUNK vs LAY-UP FREQ is pretty self explanatory however this is were some of those spectacular plays come from to keep it real I used 7 because they all are not great dunkers some players use sweet finger rolls some use the back board alley-oops and really shine, but I like 7 its for that rare spectacular DUNK thats sooooo nasty and leaves you with your mouth open saying how'd he do that? Whats really cool is to have the camera on center court and see it close up and again on the replay, and oh yeah you'll want to crank the baby up so you don't miss it because at 7 it won't happen every play so MAX the replay freq. Sub% this is were you want to be careful,if you leave a tired player in too long he's subject to play POORLY and can be at risk to INJURY I saw it happen to Kenyon Martin trying to block Kevin Garnetts NASTLY DUNK,he injured his arm but did return to play later in the game SUB% 39 works fine for me. OFF and DEF rebounds I haven't got this down yet so I'm setting the OFF REB at 100,and yes I did set the BOX OUT to OFF and the CRASH BOARDS to ON,I set the DEF REB to 50 I'll work more on the OFF REB as I progress thur the games it takes more than a few games to get it right so thats a work in progress for now its OFF REB 100,DEF REB 50 and yes you can if you want adjust the team stategy for BOX OUT OFF,CRASH BOARDS ON in the TEAM STRATEGY SETTING. FAKEOUT very very important here as not to get those ankles broken also helps out with the defense I set this to 58 but I say this is one of the MOST important settings because it impacts the defense in quite a big way so be careful,I'd say anywhere from 25-65,I use 58 my personal preference and I don't want to see the shame in being broke down on the court its embarassing to see your favorite player just humiliated by a FAKEOUT MOVE but it does happen in the NBA. The shooting ranges vary, too high you get high scores so I use SHT 29-32,MED 38, LNG 25 pretty basic but still important if your scores are too high I'd take a look at these. On the dunking pct.you can FREESTYLE all you like but if this isn't set right you're blowin hot air buddy I set mine at 50% this is the CPU vs CPU so it knows who the BALLERS in the game if the players rating justify a DUNK I see him gettin it but be mindful of mitigating circumstances such as FATIQUE, the players HARDINESS rating which I see as his clutch in BIG GAMES or close to the wire games. LAY-UPS pretty much the same thing. Adjusted SHOT% 20 I hate garbage and I don't want to see it too much but this is the NBA so 20 for me it is. Adjusted SHOT FREQ, the CPU has the right to adjust any shot it deems necessary...NOT, this games AI will make those shots with great freq.In games I've watched those shots are known as SECOND CHANCE POINTS and the overlay displays it as that, second chance points are OK but I want the game to be true so I use 15,its low enough to make the CPU step it up and hustle it up,just listen to the coach and players conversations on the floor. On-ball "D" better safe than sorry I set this puppy at 68,not too high not too low.It, that is the CPU plays tight defense and there is some BOUNCE off players I don't like the BOUNCE and find it ugly to look at but you need some BOUNCE to create space for good looks at the basket but not 5-7 feet off a BOUNCE,so try anything between 65-80. Poor Shot Release 19%,if its a POOR SHOT then thats what it is.Double TEAM 30 this setting is a killer, the CPU will come up with the ball on a steal a lot. I set this at 30 because sometimes the guys being mugged and should get a foul or something other times he should get some kind of call, and then he should if he's a good ball handler be able to PASS out,I know its two guys on one but not every single time he should be stolen from just my observations I'm still tweakin' em out so let me know what you think and if you've seen anything worth talking about suggestion are welcomed here.GO BUCKEYES

Hey Rickster, i also enjoy cpu vs cpu games. I'm trying to load your settings. Would you mind simplifying your settings like making your list for cpu and cpu controlled team? Seeing them under collums would be easier to see rather than going through your threads. Hope you can post your settings as the above mentioned a.s.a.p.. Appreciate what your doing for us cpu watching guys.
