i just wanna know where that dude was that kept saying that the 17 minute video was the final version, b/c this game is great! I just can't wait for the PC version. Not to take anything away from espn but Live definetly delivers with the gameplay--thank god for those sliders!

Man...that is a bigger turnaround than Bush forming the Hussein fan club.

Seriously, once you get LIVE...take it slow and use the sliders. Sideline camera angle will suit you, as you like the up close views etc.

Once the sliders are set (important!) the game plays great. The ten man mo cap really adds a TONNE to the game, especially for the D.

I am still waiting for my ESPN to arrive...and the new camera's don't bother me. I am hopeful it will be cool also after sliders.

this is indeed a surprise. this guy's been bitch slapping LIVE for months. now it turns out ESPN is a fluke and he's seen the light. it's all good though. LIVE will impress the hell outta you if you're as passionate about basketball as you say you are...

I have also crossed over. For the past 2 years I've been a nba 2k buyer. This year, only because of change. I decided to buy nba live first, than exchange it for espn basketball 2004. Sorry espn basketball 2004, you want be getting any of my money this year. This game is just what the doctor ordered. I just can't stop playing this game. I have Madden 2004, NCAA 2004, ESPN Hockey 2004, Tiger Woods 2004, Nascar 2004 and I like all of them. But NBA Live 2004 has got to be the best thing out there, as for as sports games are concerned. Live 2002, and 2003 sucked horse nuggets. 2K3 was my game last year but after seeing all these negative impressions on ESPN, I'm not even interested in that game. Live 2004 has made a complete 360 in terms of gameplay. You'll be amazed at the sheer number of realistic animations this game packs.

BTW, I do remember you bashing the hell out of Live, but alot of us also bashed the hell out of last years game deservingly so. So we wont be so hard on you and I await your impressions. This years game is the best bball game I ever played and this is coming form a Lakers vs. Celtics old school player.

I always knew sliders would make Live a fantastic game, I've finnaly got my wish and boy let me tell, it makes a world of diffrence.
