    Re: hey guys..quick question?

well, I have both right now and I like Live more. I've really tried to give ESPN a chance because I really like the ESPN presentation and the street mode and 24/7 stuff. But when it came down to it I just have too much fun playing Live. I like the controls of Live so much better, the freestyling controls are great. When you use the sliders to adjust to your gameplaying style, Live can be as realistic as you wish.

What I wish Live had that ESPN has is the street mode. Live has 1 on 1 but I like it how ESPN has 1 on 1, or 2 on 2, or how ever you want to play. I liked playing 2 on 2 with me and my wife on a team. It was a lot of fun, I really wish Live had that. The 24/7 mode on ESPN is fun too, but if all comes down to gameplay for me. Live just seems more fluid to me.

So if I could mix the games, I would have the Live gameplay with the ESPN presentation. I like ESPN's nightly wrapups and unlockables in the game. I don't really care about shoes and stuff like that, so the unlockables in Live are kinda meaningless to me. I like that when I am playing ESPN that it feels like I'm on Sportscenter, and that's cool. But I gotta go with what game is the mosts fun when actually playing, and for me that is Live, so that is why my ESPN is going on eBay this weekend.

Now ESPN College Hoops and EA March Madness, that might be another story, we will have to wait and see.

the biggest difference to me is that with espn all the teams play the same no difference between say the kings and the pistons well with lives you can tell the difference the mavs run the pistons slow it down the 76ers go through iverson the lakers run a triangle, and the spurs run a lot of two man game with duncan and parker also live has a lot of what i call extras when kobe gets hot the crowd at the staples center chants kobe, kobe, kobe, or mvp, mvp, mvp for jason kidd also iso motion on espn is cool but you don't feel like you are in control of it sometimes with freestyle you know what your going to do everytime

The boyz in the ESPN forum are saying that's not true. They say teams do play and adjust specificaly. Maybe you're wrong?

im not interested in fighting with anyone about it, but i have ESPN and its never happened for me....all teams play the same style as far as ive ever been able to tell.....it doesnt matter to em if im right or wrong about it, what DOES matter is that it has caused me to look elsewhere for a more enjoyable game for ME
