i know exactly what hes asking.
why have shooting percentage sliders in the game to change how good your team will shoot, when players should only be shooting as good as their personal shooting ratings are set at?

its a good point. say kobe had his medium shot at 89 and dudley had his at 65, that should be enough to tell the difference. there should be no need to change any sliders when dudley should shoot poor and kobe should shoot good anyway.

Note: thats not actually my opinion, that is what he was asking. but its a good point.

For one to make the game more realistic in shootin %s. Kobe will still make alot of shots but it wont be outrageous.

I know. I see the point, I was just pointing out what that other person meant. I did write that it wasnt my opinion at the bottom.

Yeah, I did realise that it's someone elses question, I did read your post from the beginning, it just wasn't worded clearly (to me anyway).

I would imagine the slider vs player rating would be some sort of complicated scaling equation type deal. Example: even though Kobe may be rated an 89 in midrange shooting we all know he doesn't hit 89% of his shots. It seems like it would be a pretty fine balance between the rating and the gameplay. Glad I don't write the code.
