    while i dont understand exactly how the ratings work...i think a player, say rated in the 70's as you mentioned, would be so rated based on his characteristics being better than or equal to roughly 70% of NBA players....while a team rating would be similar in relation to the other 28 teams.....does that make any sense?

            just edit the player ratings if you have a problem with team ratings. that is what i do.
