    What's the difference?

Also some of you just have to accept that there are people out there who actually enjoy NBA Live (and who enjoyed NBA Elite 11) w/o getting your panties all in a bunch. Opinions vary and just because YOU might think that Live is "garbage"....it doesn't make it FACT.

The SAME people who keep saying the SAME nonsense over and over again are the SAME people who are constantly posting and "trolling" the Live boards. If they game is truly that "bad" and if EA has no "clue" in their direction with the Live series.....then WHY the (bleep) are you here?

....other than to bash EA of course.

    Weak.
Go to the 2k board and point out faults... I know I could give a rats behind because there is proof they listen to fans.. can't say the same here.

I enjoyed NBA Live... but the proof is in the pudding buddy... it sold like crap, they made promises they couldnt keep and in the end they put it in the hands of a hockey man and he got it cancelled which is unheard of other than the other games that went to the wayside like Sony's NBA basketball game

Thats what makes it a FACT that it was garbage.

I could post proof, videos , fan comments and still point out the fact that sales were in the toilet and the game went away but somehow some of yall would still find a way to spin it and say it wasn't that bad when in fact and reality it was.

EA had a clue, but for whatever reason they abandoned it quickly. People here are fans of basketball...but its amazing that no matter what some of yall like YOU keep saying these are 2k fans...some of the guys commenting went to EA as community guys, they tested basketball games for EA and such and probably have more inside track than the few of you defending their past and present to the death.

FACT of the matter is, EA is going to get criticized until they do better... I dont care what company it is, if it was Activision putting out an under par sports game they'd get criticized too. I'd imagine all of the people who bought the NCAA game and got screwed over severely should just sit down and not say anything either right?

Man please stop it, just talk about the game and articles and not about the posters... the agenda is getting tired.

Obviously the Live team at EA Canada couldn't get it right witch caused the big wigs to cancel Elite and move it to Florida. Now a new team had to be assembled and in the feild they're in you just can't hire anybody cause it takes a lot of schooling to do what they do. Now because they are under the EA label these new devs get bashed for not working on the game for two years (someone please explain how is that possible). They get bashed for recycling stuff from previous Live's and the main goal is to get things working properly witch is very possible. If anybody think 2k don't use animations from previous 2k's you fooling yourself but the thing with 2k they actually work.

All in all people just need to relax and wait to see what they got befor they jump on here and complain about something we only heard them talk about and showed a pre alpha version at E3.

I'm happy that EA has finally figured out the team needed to be changed after 6 years of strait garbage and hopefully these new guys can get it right.

I happen to think the criticisms came when people heard of what the game looked like after 2 years and the articles came out... OS, IGN, and I believe Scott himself if im not mistaken.. can't remember if Pasta wrote one but I believe he did too

So in short, people were commenting on what they read about what they saw and where the game was at....then came the save em at all cost posters
who decided everyone who had something to say about those articles were 2k only fans

Honestly I think both company's listen to fans to a certain extent and it have to be that way because devs have limitations but we allways want more. With Elite 11 EA tried to fix rebounding, elimitating 2 man animations, playing defense was realer, and giving the user live gameplay (something we been begging for for years). The direction they wanted to go was the right one because physics open up opportunites for realer gameplay and its a lot of people who actually want that. Look at the things that we can do in Fifa, NHL, and now Madden and the hockey dude was right b-ball been stuck with the same gameplay for over a decade and it been time for change.

One of the so called biggest EA fanboys out there..so called

The last thing EA Sports needed for NBA Live 13 was increased skepticism and negativity. That's exactly what they got however at E3 as report after report pegged Live as a let down - even ESPN called it the biggest disappointment at the event. When the media - and many being the same outlets who

Having become the underdog after years of eroding the fan base with sub-par releases and the aborted attempt at a reboot EA Sports is attempting a comeback with NBA Live 13. It will be an uphill battle to reestablish credibility and grow sales - one that really can't afford blunders along the way. Despite that

Good thing the comments are disabled and I wont even go into the history part

Let alone Da Cazr's radio show with all of his guests pessimistic about the game as well

and I wont even go into the history

EA didnt listen to the fans man come on... and I know this for a fact

Although I can point out the wish list, I know they didnt beyond that

I also saw how they dissed last years Elite Community Day team and did a gimmick contest, but stringed all of those guys along for quite some time... I know because I saw it happen

Bringing up Fifa and Madden doesnt matter..they didnt get cancelled

Mike wanted physics but it didnt matter...they wanted hockey

They only can do so much in a year so every thing in a 10 or more pages whishlist ain't gone make it in a game on a year development cycle. My point about the other games is they can do a lot more now with a physics engine, so why not b-ball? Do you honestly want gameplay that's the same as the ps2 days? If every thing HHG been saying is true about Live 13 and it turns out to be good I'm honestly not playing any game with the same gameplay concepts as lastgen just like MW vs BF3 I'm about realism I need fresh air. A pyhsics engine fixes a lot of problems that hurt sports games for decades and to say EA isn't listening is wrong honestly I think they have a better vision than most gaming company's and its showing.

My man they've been ignoring wishlists long before this year or Elite 11. Here is where you guy's problem is coming up with the 'Live/EA bashing.' Someobody voices a concern about the game or the direction these guys are taking and then you guys make posts like this one that basically make up some excuse for them and then you have people have to explain yet again why the excuse is wrong and the circle goes on and on.

I don't get some of you guys and talking about gameplay being the same and all this other stuff. If you have a successful game that plays like the sport it's set out to replicate fairly well, then you can give me that same engine for the next 40 years and I don't give a ****. Change just for the sake of change is not wise and EA found that out the hard way trying to 'revolutionize' the way we play ball with Elite.

This thread is pure comedy, lol. Just seems like to me people want something other than 2k, even if it's crap, lol. Bottom line is EA ished on bball gaming this whole gen, except for maybe Live 10(I enjoyed Live 09, but I know I'm in the minority) and it still wasn't great. People are just fed up. The fact that they had all this time and sat on their hands is just sad. EA let us down as gamers and no one here should be defending them. They need to show and prove, until then their past games are all we have to go on, and those were all terrible this generation. I'm rooting for them, but they have to show me something. Also the talk and hype means nothing. We've all been there before with EA sports.
