He makes one good point though. None of us have seen the game. So honestly all that hate right now is unwarranted.

There's a reason why we haven't seen the game. And taking 2 years off and not showing us anything yet is enough to warrant all the hate. I was interested in Live but I'm getting all the red flags again.

Ah, so much forced enthusiasm from the HHG that it felt like satire. Love how he says, "How can you call yourself a true gamer," followed immediately by, "Ea sports, it's in the game!" Such an objective perspective from a genuine journalist.

Funny watching this in contrast with Steve's review, though.

The build that he seen is the same that Steve and all the others seen, so why would i be incline to believe him, the guy was supper hyped off what he seen while Steve and others weren't the slightest bit impressed, just seems to me that the guy likes or is enjoying having a little spotlight....

Well it's been stated about 100 times it's a raw build, wether they should be further in the process or not is just silly to criticize the game now wait for gameplay to come out.

Its a matter of opinion, what silly to me is the fact that after 2yr-3yrs, they cant even show a solid demo or trailer, and they expect me to trust that the final product will be solid? I could be wrong, but I'm just not convinced.. and again they label there target (vision) for the game as a 3yr plan (once again) and one of the interviews or articles i read said dont expect much, when they had the 3yrs to hit that target goal, thats just silly to me bro

First of all why are you even complaining about this game when your a PC gamer. Second of all the person above me said exactly what I was thinking they only had since November to work on the game if that bothers you, offends you, pisses you have you could always not buy the game (if you have a console, going by your posts you don't), like I said its just silly to go off a gameplay impression off a raw build of the game that did not even have off ball movement start complaining when EA has gameplay videos out/ demo unless you have inside information.

BRo, I'm a gamer, I have a xbox and a PS3, i was a console gamer first, then switched to PC for cheaper and better looking games... Firstly i know the team for EA was put together in November, my issue with that is they had all that time to use instead they let the yrs go by, and now want to release a game that they are still saying has a 3yr plan, makes no sense..... but then again I should have know better, were talking about EA.... but we just have different views and thats fine, you can feel that its silly to judge raw gameplay, i feel its silly they had ample amount of time to put together a decent demo or even trailer and try to justifiy it by saying or making excuses that the team was put together in less than one Dev cycle, when they had 2-3yrs man, 2-3yrs.... What were they doing with all that time, brainstorming Like i said before, demo will be deciding factor for me, but some thing just can't be overlooked like the major waste of time and yet another NBA live release with a planned 3yrs to reach their dream product.... bet you they dont give us a 3yr price plan ($20 a yr), in 3 yrs they will have gotten the full $60, and we the full game

Hey mlp111, I'm with you. Listen, if you were my employee and I gave you 2 years to complete a project, and a few months upon deadline time you didn't have any visual presentation to show me, I would FIRE YOUR ***! I will critisize as much as I like, and express my opinion because this is a forum, and that's whats done around here. Seriously people where are we going as consumers if we don't demand top quality for the products we purchase? Ofcourse we can wait until the demo, or video of gameplay comes out, but my argument is that it's been 2 years, how much more time does EA need to show consumers a functional game? And trust me, I'm not a 2k fanboy. I play 2k because in my opinion 2k has been the better franchise, but I was disappointed with 2k12. I will check both games out (rent), but if neither of them are satisfactory I may just say screw basketball game. I'm not ranting about nba live 13, I'm ranting about consumers settling for less. If we the consumers have to earn our money, then the sellers (EA, 2k etc.) should have to earn theirs. Ok, I'm done. My name is bumpyface and i approve this message.

I don't understand how EA is making a excuse by saying the team was put together in less than one dev cycle. Do you honestly think you can put together a team in their feild and come strait in and start working on a game? EA Tiburon is new to this game because obviously the team at EA Canada couldn't get it right and befor we get a chance to see what these developers can do its people like you bashing them befor you even heard, seen, and played the game yet.

Give the new team a chance and be mad at the EA Canada Live team for Elite 11 and the other Live games you didn't like.

I could see if they came out and said the game was in development for 2 years and still didn't have nothing to show but clearly that's not the case.

It was not a issue of Ea Canada making a bad game it was when they brought the Hockey guy in and tried to change everything.

BRo, i'm going to give live 13 a chance, as a matter of fact i preordered both games already, but testing the demo will be a determining factor if i keep the reserves or not... I'm not mad at EA, i was just saying why release another game with a 3yr plan, when all the time they had off, the game could be at the 3yr goal if they would have used al there time off, thats all i'm saying and will say on the matter.... going to move on, i respect everyones opinion here, this is just mine... but I dont want to seem that i'm bashing EA and admiring 2k, because I'm not to thrillered at the gameplay that i seen with them either, animations look good (2k) but i want a new experience, animations are killing the game.... going to be hard on both games, especially if i'm planning on shelling out $140+ bucks on for these (nba 2k13 pc, nba 2k13 xbox, nba live 13 ps3)

How many times have you've said the same thing throughout years of Live only to get a crap product at release. It seems silly to me that throught all these years people still believe the Live hype.
