The fact of the matter is that will never know what EA is up to until they post their own video. We cant all just jump to assumptions and assume that their game is going to be trash, even though we've been disappointed in the past. All we can seriously do is wait patiently. We all know that 2K has been dominating basketball games for multiple years now and while I can't see a change in that right now I can only hope that that will be better competition or any competition this year at all.

Wasnt so much rebutting you as I was piggy backing off of your post, but the more in depth of history on the controls was for the guy who wont stop talking about stealing controls

Cant remember if it was 2000 or 2001 or 2002

I know it was in 2002, its an alternate control

At that time they werent pumping up controls at all just basketball, which they focused on a more sim aspect than anyone bothered to at the time

Nobody has assumed anything, there were a number of bad articles and previews about what people saw at any chance it was shown, and when looked for to be shown again EA hid it... it really has NOTHING AT ALL to do with 2k

Live is toast, just like NFL 2K.

Only difference is 2K smoked them the gentlemans' way, while EA pulled some "Im taking my ball and leaving" moves.

I heard that the Gamescom conference displayed the NBA Live 13 logo so I guess that will clear up some confusion about the game not coming out or being cancelled.

How does a logo being present clear up the questions about the games progress???
The game was not mentioned or shown during the nearly 90 minute presentation. Another major trade event begins and EA has the spotlight to itself but no verbal or tangible visual evidence of LIVE 13 is shared??
Cedric, what do you know that the rest of the gaming media doesn't? "Choking" is too lenient a term to describe what EA Sports has done with this games nearly 3 year cycle.

Actually, choking is too harsh a word to be honest. Choking would imply that they were winning at some point and gave up the lead. It's quite clear, they haven't won **** in quite some time. Hell they haven't even been in the lead in some time.

I watched the conference and didn't see any Live logo. Now, I don't have ten eyes, and I wasn't paying attention the whole time, but when they displayed some EA covers, I tried to look for the NBA Live cover, and of course I didn't see it. I don't remember anything related to a bunch of logos either, but again, I could have missed it.
