I respectfully disagree with your sentiments on NBA Live 10 not being cartoonish and arcadey. Although for what its worth, Live 10 was a better basketball game than 2K10.

As 2k10 nailed the visual aspect (ever since 2k7, 2k has been the king in visuals) but completely failed with the gameplay. 2k10 was basically a game of who can score the most paint points in 20 minutes.

Years ago, I bet EA was OS' baby, but what have you done for me recently? The community, or erm, the newer members (like myself) dislike EA. And that's the majority. I am biased because I prefer Live 10 to 2K10/11, but that was just me. I switched to 2K on 11. I appreciate your insight. And no, Live 13 looks better then Elite, I'm not trying to be rude, but that's blasphemous. Elite looked like like the jerseys had a shade of black in them.

I can't agree with you there. You posted a nice video though and you had some interesting thoughts, even though I don't agree with everything you said.

It's hard for people here, or anywhere, to be positive about EA's basketball series if you look at what they've done to it over the last 4-5 years. Alot of members on this site have played bball games for over 20 years and aren't really biased but just want the best basketball video game experience they can find.

I myself have played every NBA Live since Live 95 up until 2007 when I felt basketball games should've progressed much further then they had at that point. When I got back into bball games, in 2010, i had Live 09 and 2K9 to try and I just found that 2K had more of the things I've wanted to see in a bball game than EA had. After that I've gotten both games each year and been dissappointed by EA each year while 2K have gotten better every year.

That's my opinion. I'm sad to see what EA have done with basketball games in the last 4-5 years. With the whole Elite fiasco it reached a new level and then seeing this today just got me bit sad. Live 10 does look better than the video we got today but I still think 10 looks way too cartoony, both in the overall graphics and animations.

I want two really good basketball games on the market and I want them to compete with eachother each year and make better and better games.

You shouldn't assume anything especially about this site because you're way off base here more than you can realize.

I agree 2k10 had major issues but mike Wang was the dude who got live 10 to the stage it was at.......

I can respect that. I just love EA basketball. The controls always seemed to fit my style and I enjoyed that. EA is what it is, I can't sugar coat it, Elite was utter ***. I expressed in my video how Elite frustrated me to the point my head nearly exploded!

I to am a fan of just basketball games in general. Do I prefer EA? Yes. If 2K13 is so incredibly better then Live 13, then I'll get it. I will most likely purchase both anyways. NBA 2K10 was just awful, so I get you. We all have bias, my bias is EA.

I totally respect that. We all have our own playstyle and what we enjoy. I'm looking for the best basketball game out there. If EA would make a better game than 2K I'd like that game more. I will probably keep getting both games each year, if they get reviews that deserve it. I wouldn't buy either 2K nor EA's game if they had rating of 3 out of 10 or something like that cause then I'd just be throwing my money away. Good solid games should be rewarded, by giving them your money. But if someone tries to sell you a brick with an EA or 2K or whatever logo on it I'm not giving them any money at all.
