well, the triple threat position in freestyle really helps cause it helps you swing the ball from one side and jab and stuff, so when you are jabbing in the right direction, GO. it works for me 90% of the time
    GO CHINA!

bcuz if you just dribbled up and faced him you will be getting the ball taken. to prevent it, take your thumb off the left analog stick and freestyle while standing still, then when you arre ready to go past him, go back to the L analog stick and go past him.

      sounds easy but you asked!!!!!

........maybe Live should have on the box "Some basketball IQ required!"

everyone wants to make the game a sim but basketball is a game and Live is a game, to be good at both PRACTICE is required!!!!! Just like you cant go from couch potato to T-Mac is the same as you cant go from Double Dribble to Superstar mode on Live 2004.

How mnay games have you watched lately? I watched 2 games last night explicitly looking for this. Not once did I notice the ballhandler at the top of the key turn his back away from the basket even when being covered closely. I mean, just think about it, how are you supposed to see the floor when you're facing the wrong way?
