pc version IS alot better than the console versions. with the roster patches, among others, the game plays very well....I am glad I got the Buell- I love riding it, I love the oddball looks I get on the road- I love people asking "What IS that thing?" I love flying into a corner WAY too hot, scared spitless and sure I'll never hold it at this speed- and hearing the bike whisper "Sissy!"... -

Question...
Have the "patchers" managed to fix the offensive rebounding and the fast-break speed cheats issues? I so, I swear I'm gonna go get this game tommorrow

Hey bro...
At the risk of upsetting Pared......the answer is NO.
The gameplay is the exact same.
I gave up the xbox version and got the PC one. The patches are very cool, and if you go to NBALIVE.ORG you can get a roster patch with all of KDRE's team styles automatically on.
Graphically, the game is better than the XBOX...player models are slightly better and faces much better. Courts etc look nicer in higher res.
Gameplay wise, it's identical. You'll still see turbo passes and you won't see any offensive rebounds (that's an AI issue that can't be fixed...which is why I was hoping they'd fix it with a PC patch, but they aren't going to, the upcoming patch is custom art probs only...)
If you can see it cheap, get it for the patches.
Don't expect the gameplay issues to be any different though.Comment

Re: Back to Live...For good
thats tough to say. you can make a crossover button on your controller.
Graphics and patches alone make it a worthy 20 dollar purchase IMO.
The semi lackluster "authentic" game as monkey has stated previous is still the same. I can live with it though and enjoy this game. Although not fully sim like, the game is fun and it takes me away from studying for school, lol.Comment

I'd agree with that. If you can trade in your xbox / ps2 copy and get the PC one for $20, do it. It's worth it for the patches, some of which are great (Staples Center, Yao, Duncan, Pierce...look very good) Rosters patches are excellent also.
Speaking of...anyone know what has happened to NBALIVE.ORG? The sites all gone except the forums?Comment
