The lack of fully fledged modes was to be expected if you followed this game. Heck even the other game had to trim stuff. Just part of the first release on new consoles. Maybe these modes will be a focus next year or its not even possible with synergy. If the offline modes are lacking to begin with, roster editing won't save it anyways.

The focus of these next consoles is all about online and staying connected. Unfortunate for the offline people.

And how should live handle injuries anyways? Your my player jumps and lands weird? Not gonna happen.

LOL! Never ceases to amaze me. Just when you think there's no new way for people to defend bad decisions with this series, you can count on posts like these to come along and knock it out of the park.

Yeah, being a Live supporter (albeit a rational one) this is truly unacceptable and there really isn't a way to justify it.

It's 2013. Building a game from scratch shouldn't be an excuse when features are missing, especially with something as basic as injuries. This is a reality in the NBA and happens nearly everyday. How was this ever justified as being excluded from a final build?

It's a shame that EA had seemingly built up some positive momentum up to this point then just as the game is about to release, they drop 2 bombshells like this. Crazy but really not surprised.

Honestly I can live with some things missing. If there isn't a playoff mode or training facility or something like that because you ran out of time or you wanted to focus on fixing up your franchise mode you're including or Rising Star mode, I can live for a year without playoffs and that stuff. It's disappointing but I'll survive without it for a year. There is no excuse however for a sports video game in the year 2013 heading into 2014 to not include in game injuries however. It's the dumbest thing ever. I can almost forgive not allowing you to edit players. No editing AND no injuries though? Inexcusable.

No in game injuries? And people are actually defending that??

My god, is this what basketball fans have turned into?

@RyanFerwerda will dynasty mode have in-game injuries? Your interview with Bleacher Report makes it seem like there won't be any.

People selfishly defend anything it's crazy. If apple's next MacBook came without a keyboard somebody would post about how they are more of a mouse guy that rarely types and is confused about why people care.

I want to know if you really believe that.

On topic: wow, I was so hyped now the player editing thing, that stinks. I wanna know if Create a Player is in Live. Not gonna really change my now disappointed feeling, but if Gameface is implemented, I'll be a little happier, but that's like placing a band-aid on a gun shot wound.

Well, sorry to add insult to your gunshot wound but the Live team has already confirmed that GameFace is not in this years game as they really wanted to focus on the foundation of the future before adding all those features.

I think it will update while you are in your dynasty. In year 4 of my my ccm in madden and decided to update my gamer face and it updated. don't see why it can't be implemented.

What the hell are you talking about? There is a greater amount of OS that plays offline rather than online.

I think no in game injuries is why I passed on Live 10. Absolutely no excuse for a so called simulation to not have in game injuries.

40 days from the calendar year 2014, and a so call "major developer" releases a game with no in game injuries.
