I see a lot of people asking for Physic overhaul. It has already been implemented with IGNITE, the foundation for EA's sports next gen games. It works very well for FIFA, Madden , and the new Hockey to be released on next gen. I'm confident that the animation/graphic issues associated with IGNITE collision detections in NBA LIVE 14 will be addressed and vastly improved, by EA in LIVE 15.
Suggestions:
LIVE could take a lesson from FIFA with the addition of FIBA leagues (not just teams) and world championship tournaments to also include the Olympics. This would greatly enhance pickup games LIVE Seasons, LIVE Ultimate Player, Rising Star, and Dynasty Modes by giving maximum options to build your team/player. Imagine your Rising star being sent overseas? Euro LIVE players starting in their home leagues and ending up in the NBA or on their national teams...if they choose? Drafting an overseas player and watching him develop overseas until he is ready for prime time? Madden and FIFA give storylines for various players/coaches/teams in the leagues which adds to the depth of gameplay, and could also add an international flavor.
FIFA-like team chemistry would have to be added in for Ultimate team, since the selection of worldwide players would almost require it.
Like Madden, they could use coach + playstyles to determine a player's individual rating within a particular coach's scheme on a particular team (Early offense, set offenses, motion offenses, zone offenses and spread offenses). the same could be done with defenses. This is so every coach sees a different rating for each player in a particular environment, instead of the static numbers we see now.
The D league needs to be in!
May I say FIBA again?
IMO, Dynasty offseason in 14 was rushed, and needs to be reworked entirely to be as robust as the other EA sports games from contract negotiations to training players.
