    If anyone is interested

I am testing out starter level with some very difficult sliders. The reason why is I was tired off the super human ability the cpu has on d. I have found some interesting things out. If anyone is interested let me know on this thread and I will post my findings.

I am glad you have a open mind. Most people (I used to be included) think that you have to play on all star or superstar or you are not a good player. Some games this is true. However on this game the cpu cheats and has super human speed, especially when catching you on the break. Well this is what sliders are for. See Ea thinks they have to make their game like that on superstar, otherwise people would complain and say its to easy. So I beleive that they make the game to play the most realistic on the starter level, because with the sliders you can adjust them to still play you hard but not unrealistic. Don't get me wrong now I do beat the cpu on superstar. It just doesn't feel like a real game on that level. I have noticed that on starter you can take advantage of turnovers. Meaning you get a steal in the backcourt you can now get a uncontested lay up or 2 on 1 break, instead of the guy you stole it from magically kicking it in a gear that you can't even reach to catch you. I am still working on the sliders but this is what I did to start.
          Speed at 35
Now for your sliders I lowered them all the way to 20 and under
For the cpu sliders I raised them to the max, except shooting sliders.
Those are no less than 50, you have to find a happy spot for you.
You must put the free throw at 100 or it will be to easy.
Just try it out and let me know what you think of my theory.

I will, now keep in mind I am no slider guru like some of you guys. However I have played professional basketball and plan to continue next season. So I am just trying to create the most realistic bball experience. So I might need some input after I post them.

Thank you, sirjam, for your input. I still play Live every once in a while, though ID takes up most of my time....however, your theory interested me greatly, and I think I will try it out. However, I have two questions for you:

                            1. Does the computer block less shots? It didn't matter who I was playing with on All-Star level--if you didn't create 3 ft. of separation, the defender (from point guards to centers) would always block your shot.

                            2. Also, do teams go to their go-to-guys or do all players still play the same? This is the biggest reason why I bought ID---teams go to their superstars.
