Re: Giving up on Live series If 15 sucks?
Some people say they would give up but I think if Live makes a decent amount of upgrades this year and continue so the following year people who trun their back on the series will give them a shot for Live 17 if its a good game. With youtube, twitch and all the streaming ability out there and technology as long as we can see what we are buying lookds good it shall be an option.Follow me:https://twitter.com/OVzBack

Re: Giving up on Live series If 15 sucks?
I gave up on this series a long long time ago. IMO, Live 15 will be a "meh" game. It will be improved graphically from Live 14. And I believe the gameplay will be slightly better. However, they are so far behind in movement, animations, modes, and presentation. The game comes across so dry. Since PS3/360 and PS4/Xbone, they have underachieved. Live has continued to start over and feed us the BS "three year plan".
Basketball is global. The other game is global and Live's absence from 2011 to 2013 allowed die hard live fans (casuals and sim players) to try the other game out. A lot of them didn't realize what they were missing. Live hasn't proven it can catch up and at some point lack of sales will bury their franchise. Their biggest mistake was the idea and implementation of "Elite". You would of expected after being out of the game for 3 years that the Live team would come out strong for current gen. But nope!!!! Live 14 was a travesty. It was unbelievably bad. Starting off that bad was a huge blow.Comment

I disagree that Live can't make the ground up on 2K. If that was the case no company would ever caught "the" company in it's respective field. Also EA isn't some start-up company in some ones garage. With Madden and FIFA I will assume EA is making more than 2K. So if EA sees big long term dollars in the growing world wide popularity of the NBA and probably eventually Euroleague and FIBA teams they are more than likely to invest and take their early lumps.
Also I think Live is approaching this the right way by attacking 2K biggest flaws IMO. Which is it's lack of responsiveness and lack of rewarding actually stick skills. You looking at the Chair MAN!
Number may not tell the whole story ,but they never lie either.Comment

I'm not sure you can call it a series anymore, at least not a 19 y/o series. They seem to reboot it every few years now. "NBA Elite" definitely didn't help the continuation of this "series".Last edited by youvalss; 08-31-2014, 06:39 PM.My Specs:
