Are you serious? Then this game isnt even a rental for me. I dont trust EA or any developer to get the game realistic enough without sliders.

Just telling you what they said, which I know doesn't seem to make sense but that was their words. Im surprised people still don't know..they said this some time ago.

Why can't people just be interested in an alternative? You don't have to be sick of a game or series to be interested in what else is out there.

I hate what the lack of sports games has done to gamers. Games can't coexist, we gotta pick and choose sides. That **** is wack.

To be fair, dudes have been keeping up these "either or" wars long before we as sports gamers got the shaft from every game developer and sports league in the world by committing mass murder on every genre of sport.

I guess, even if the gameplay is solid, there will still be the concern of not having sliders. Too bad, because it just adds another layer of potential problems. I'd love it if it were great for my taste out of the box, but if it's not, there's a problem here.

When has the gameplay of ANY game been solid enough to not need sliders. I love The Show series and think its great out the box...but it still needs sliders. This game doesnt even have the track record of the Show so it definitely needs it. Live 14 wouldve been somewhat playable with sliders imo.

I see this completely different. I don't know why on a new gen system in 2014 why we would need sliders in the 1st place. Difficultly levels ok game speed ok. Sliders to control 3pointer made or layups is some thing IMO that should be determined by the players stats with the situation to be realistic.

Sliders are needed because everyone doesnt see "realistic" as the same. I may be happy with the offensive rebounding in 2k out the box but you may think it happens too often and want to tweak it. I may want a game where players are more willing to go for dunks in traffic...u may think thats unrealistic.


Thats why sliders are needed in every sports game.

Live 14 may have been ugly as sin, but a good slider set would've gone a long way towards fixing some of the flaws that made it unplayable. Sorry, but I have zero faith that 15 is going to play an authentic game out of the box.

Lmao that game looks trash. The first video he just drives to the hole and dunks. Dwight Howard is there when he's driving, but he slides all the way to the 3 point line.
The 2nd video, Harden travels when he first got the ball at the top of the 3 point line.
The 3rd video, everyone is just standing still looking. And the player models just look bad man. Give up EA, please. Save yourselves 😂

WOOAH WOOAH excellent job by the live team I'm speechless

Despite some live 14 animations you can clearly see the HUGE amount of work they put in the short time had!

cons:
I'm not dumb enough to think you can solve a 10 years system flaw in a one year, so the way the players move something is a bit weird ok ok

pros:
Now we're talking now we're in business live woooow, footplanting AND momentum are well represented, after his sprint harden didn't magically stop his momentum carried him away and he had to regain his balance before thinking about his move.

When you contest a shot it has an effect YEAAAH, James reacted to the defender and it wasn't a animation for the show his shot needed a lucky bounce to go in.

physics in mid air, even if it looks weird I'm glad, you won't send a quick guard ala Rose in the paint if a dude like Pekovic is standing there (you might lose a knee )

Fight for the low post=> as a basket coach I know way too well why you should front a physical pr skillfull low post player, I can only be happy to see this very important tactic in the game I hope you put others little details.

the graphics?? Damn EA because of you I need to order a ps4, I don't always have access to the one my brother bought and this game is the first one to make me think I should

one on one DEFENSE!! Gone are the invisible mandatory wall to prevent the offense to slide by you lol (it was a tricky wall since it didn't help you once in the air ) and the canned animation to help the defense now to stop the offense you have to be in position and if you are in good position the offense will have to/can adapt, THIS IS BASKETBALL

Said no one ever.

Out of the box settings are optimized for short quarter/period lengths. Things always have to be tweaked if you want longer games with realistic stats.

Anyway, it sounds like this is old news. Oh well, guess I'll pass.

One thing I dont think I'd like is the over reliance on an online update to stuff like this.

You can't edit players, no injuries, no sliders and all of this you have to rely on synergy to do for you.

That's a pretty tall order, I couldn't look at that and say in the least you don't need sliders. I just can't agree with that.
