Quite a few fouls called on default.

Overall it was a very fun first demo. Still can't believe how much better it was over 14. Don't know why they didn't hype the game more and release earlier footage. I'm a casual fan so take these comments from my perspective.

Have to post my video of cpu Westbrook dunking on me. It was awesome. I won by 2 on Pro (don't hate!) after being down by 9. Lots of fun.

Really enjoying the DEMO with all the settings on that folks here suggested.

The game is very 'organic' and I see different things almost every time I play. Saw a great drive by Kyrie where he drove and then kicked out to Love via a great pass for three. Watched the replay multiple times and it just looked like a completely unscripted basketball play. I collapsed by D, he was halted, turned and saw Love open...Excellent stuff.

I really want some sort of guarantee that there WILL be constant updates post release though before I buy it. LIVE 14's "hourly roster and tendency updates" were more like monthly.

I'd also like to know that the late game AI issue WILL be fixed.

If we know those things will happen...I will be buying this thing for sure.

This is a CPU vs CPU game

This is my 3rd one I've done and noticed that steals are extremely low every time.

Opening night rosters should be a priority for any sports game.

The EA roster guy is active on here...can he chime in and guarantee us rosters will be regularly updated?

I paid full price for LIVE 14 and got badly burnt. Remember this?

I love the "other game" this year but I bought live after seeing the feedback here. I played it exclusively for a couple of days and I must admit, maybe it's me but I'm surprised at some of the over the top praise.

Presentation/Graphics - much improved like everyone has noted but that was the expectation. There is actually something that pops off the screen with the scanned players and arenas but when you compare the games it's not as drastic a difference as some would have you to believe.

Gameplay - I completely understand the "it's different mindset" but man this game drives me crazy. The control is not as tight as I expected and the players play almost identical to each other with the exception of a big dunker or great shooter. The AI is not yet up to par and maybe upcoming patches will address this. The animations still are not close to what they need to be at this point. Shooting is not as rewarding, release it super quick or it's too late. The blocks are outstanding and the pace is very good as most have mentioned.

Also, the game feels very arcade like, this isn't necessarily a bad thing but the inability to customize the experience is disappointing.

Do I regret buying Live 15...no. The thing is that after I went back to 2k after a few days I had a different appreciation for what it offers. The fact that we have competition is great for all of us that love hoops games but Live isn't ready just yet.

I haven't played Live in years but there is something about the demo that I really enjoy.

At the same time, it makes me really want to play the other game. I think I'm gonna get both.

my only complaints at the moment from more time with the game is the alley oops cheese and the suction animations in the paint. Its driving me crazy.

I just played the first NBA rewind game. I have no clue what difficulty it's on, I know for one thing it's on rockets win difficulty because the amount of cheese in the game was unbearable.

I drew 3 charges that were no calls, harden went 10/10 from 3 pt range despite me doubling him after the first.

Aldridge would miss a two footer with little pressure but chandler friggin parsons would dunk on 3 of my players playing ole defense.

Untold amounts of ticky tack fouls called on me. Only way I was able to pull it off was to full court press and try to steal constantly and shoot 3's. Of course Lilliard wide open can't hit a 3 sometimes while harden with 2 on him knocks them down.

The main thing I took from the game other than complete frustration that winning it doesn't make it count as "cleared" was that the replay system is the worst in a sports game.

Well, not the replay system, the replay buffer system. Look at fifa where you can go back 5 minutes. In live you can go back 20 seconds? But only if you catch it in time. If something crazy happens and the CPU calls timeout right after it the buffer clears.

This can't be how it's supposed to work, for both things, rewind and replay.

Yeah, well said. I will play this exclusively for the week and then mix 2k back in. But unlike you, I'm finding Live very refreshing. I love playing help D, since you can actually move like an athlete in this game. On the other hand, Live does make me appreciate the polish of 2K.

I was really excited for this game. Watched a ton of videos since the day it came out for Xbox users (EA access and demo), finally got around to playing the demo on PS4 yesterday, had fun all around...

Unfortunately, I can't see myself going deep into this game without gameplay sliders and player+roster editing. 2 years in a row without these options.

Watched 2 CPU vs CPU games, 10 minute quarters, All Star just now.

                              Clippers vs Mavs
                              Knicks vs Bulls

With all sports games, I like to see how the CPU plays against itself, because to me that is a good indicator of how good or bad the CPU AI is in the game. Needless to say I was disappointed big time. Without USER input, the CPU AI is basically brain dead and soul-less.

Both games, teams played out of character. Players posting up that don't in real life. Players shooting the ball a lot when they don't in real life. Players over dribbling the ball when they barely dribble in real life. CPU don't run plays at all until the final 2 minutes of the game.

Sure they will sprinkle in a few pick n roll attempts here and there. But man I tell you, the CPU can't execute the pick n roll even if their life depended on it. I would say the FAIL rate was 98%. All game long the CPU regardless of team ran ISO. Ball handler just mindless dribbling in place for a good 15 seconds, then they would either throw the ball in the post or to some body at the 3pt line for a last second bail out attempt Which I was shocked how high of a percentage bail out shots go in.

Speaking of going in, AND 1s happen way too often, almost 98% of the time. Circus shots go in way too often as well. Biggest eye sore is the amount of hook shots you see big man do in the game. Kareem retired a long time ago.......

Offensive rebounding is a problem too, only 3 per a team in both games. Not enough on ball steal attempts or steals per a game. Not enough fouls and not enough foul shots missed either. CPU didn't make any offensive or defensive adjustments in the game until the final 2 minutes. Which is a shame. CPU need to make adjustments ASAP. Because they don't points in the paint is sky high, about 62 for each team. It a shame really considering a USER could adjust individual defensive setting for players. I was expecting fronts and deny on the post, never happened. Expecting forces and double teams on the PGs, never happened.

So a 5GB SOUL INJECTION patch is needed for the CPU AI. Players lack individuality and their own real life counterpart identity. Inject real life team specific plays and play sets. I want to see the triangle offense, lob city play like lob city. Clippers attempted ZERO lobs.

Like I said yesterday the game is FUN when a USER is controlling everything. But the CPU AI is just brain dead. Watching the CPU play against itself reminds of play ground basketball. No plays, just ISO with everybody just doing mindless dribbling thinking they are Allen Iverson dribbling in place and doing uncalled for bail out shots yelling Jordan !!

                              So patch in the following:

                              1. Highlights, halftime and post game back. Without it the game is just so blah.....

                              2. Real life team specific plays and sets.

                              3. Real life player tendencies. No way should I see Tyson Chandler and DeAndre Jordan attempting 20 shots in a game from the post. No way should Chris Paul and Derrick Rose just have 2 assists. No way should Rose let Jose Calderon stick to him like glue and settle for fade away 3s instead of just blasting passed him with his speed advantage.

                              4. Severely tone down the AND 1s.

                              5. Severely tone down hook shots.

                              6. Severely tone down circus shots and bail out shots completion percentage.

                              7. Make the CPU run plays. Way too much 1 on 1 ISO going on with a last second bail out attempt. More ball movement, more player movement.

                              8. Make the CPU make offensive and defensive adjustments much quicker. Adjusting at the final 2 minutes of the game mark is way too late.

                              9. More mid range attempts.

                              10. More offensive rebounds.

The potential for greatness is there, seize it !! The AI needs a mega boost in the brain department.

I was just playing a game against the Cavs, I was the Blazers, the game was even on all fronts, except they shot a whopping 67% and 58% from three. Shawn Marion was knocking them down LMAO. Now tell me that isn't BS. They beat me 110-107.
