Is it meant for me to keep this game? Haha unless I find a craiglist buyer that's what it's looking like. I don't know why I expected any good price at gamestop. Whelp guess I'll be playing more tonight.

      Holy smokes!

I guess I need to check his in game rating.

Score: you, EA, NBA Live - 1 Me - 0

Dwyane Wade is the worst three-point shooter in NBA history
Of the 307 players in NBA history to attempt 1,000 three-point shots, eight have a career three-point percentage lower than 30 percent. Wade is one of them. But what distinguishes him from this ill-shooting pack is that he gets worse when the game is on the line: Over the course of his career, from 2003 to present (through Feb. 11), 45 players have attempted 200 three-point shots in clutch time -- when the score is within five points in the fourth quarter or OT. Of those 45 players, Wade is dead last in three-point percentage at 25.1 percent, preceded not so closely by Al Harrington and Carmelo Anthony at 27.3 percent. As for those other 44 players? They average 34.2 percent in crunch time, almost 10 percentage points higher than Flash.

It's simple, really: D-Wade shoots from three with high frequency and converts few, allowing his defenders to lag closer to the interior, which clogs the area where higher-efficiency shots are attempted. So not only does Wade brick his own shots, he makes it more likely that his teammates will too. That's bad shooting. -- Paul Swydan

After playing a few more days, these things have to be fixed either in a patch but for sure for Live 16:

        - shot release timing feels incredibly inconsistent. Sometimes it feels like I need to tap it, other times it feels like I need to hold it. All over the place, which is a bigger problem when coupled with....

-.... The inflexible guarded/unguarded system. If you're even slightly guarded and don't hit a great release shot, you're going to miss. It's frustrating because I'm trying to run plays I watch on TV, like stepback jumpers that create space, and make them way too seldom because I had a yellow meter. It's not realistic.

        - the interior help D needs to be beefed up. There's just not enough times that the physics engine kicks in where a guy driving to the basket takes it all the way to the hole like there's nobody there.

        - the arc in short range shots is way too high. Seems like a small detail, probably is, but it kills immersion when I see a shot from a few feet sky over the height of the backboard.

        - some of the animations on offence around the net are either way too fast, way too powerful or both. Probably related to the lack of physicality in general, but the animations and some of the transitions between them, need work.

        - I might just be missing a setting but using the side to side cams in the game but not having the controls be camera relative, is frustrating when I need to make a split second decision and turn the ball over because I picked the wrong dribble.

With ALL that said, I'm still very much enjoying this game. A lot. My main basketball modes I'm playing in 2K15 but I started a Dynasty last night in Live and am having a great time. The game looks and sounds incredible. I feel it keeps bringing me back to play over and over again.

It may seem like I have huge gripes but in reality I'm having a great time with Live 15 and would love to see those things fixed by the time Live 16 releases.

I just got the retail today. Did they get rid of the Jalen Rose halftime/post game shows that I saw in some of the Early Access streams?

OK, so not only can you not go out of bounds along the baseline, but you can't go out of bounds along the sidelines either. What gives EA ? No matter how wild a player dribbles or plays, there is no fear of going out of bounds because you can't. There is an invisible force field around the entire perimeter of the court.

I first noticed this on Tuesday when I pressing ball handlers, a few times I said man, I thought dude went out of bounds, I guess not. Then tonight I looked at instant replays and clearly it should have been out of bounds. Then I said naw, just probably faulty animation. But nope I purposely tried to go out of bounds EVERY WHERE, nope. It can't happen.

Oh well I guess it is a minor thing I suppose unless you play against somebody online who abuse it. Definitely makes half court traps kind of pointless though.

Day 1 update disabled it, EA is working on fixing it. I definitely miss them.

Rodney Stuckey hit me with a nasty quick cross, pulling up for the jumper and drawing the foul. I've got several good clips.

Alleys have been toned down success wise

I'm seeing some good stuff in the Live season games.

                  ^That said!

Just wanted to quickly say whatever the opinion of this game is to everyone. the press has been very quick to compare both games which is UNFAIR

This Game is the game we should have gotten last yr. So in my eyes we kind of are going back to the future, but thats ok. Better late than never.

Played this several hours straight (caved in and got the digital version)

First thing = LEARN THE CONTROLS

This game is so much better once you do that...I know it sounds obvious, but a lot people's streams and vids clearly don't know the controls. WTF clearly does and you cans the difference.

I spent a few hours solely focussed on DEFENSE.

                      - CPU elite player drives = I call a double team...dunks, easy buckets etc cut down dramatically and opens up a whole new game as they kick out / pass around.

-CPU mid range game = it is there...you need to defend well to see it though. Read the pick and rolls / pick and pops and defend the space the guard will go to off the pick...that forces them to pull up for the mid range J. If the big is a 3 man, crowd him immediately so he doesn't get the 3 ball. Again, this opens up some really nice organic / script free basketball as they pass it around looking for the open shot.

I really recommend doing nothing except focussing on one or two areas when you get the game...don't even look at the scoreboard or worry about winning. Just focus on certain aspects like defending certain moves.

USE the defensive settings - they are deep, use them. Drive guys baseline / force them away from the middle.

Minor notes: Graphics are really nice. I have the CAVS v KNICKS game on my TV right now and the colours are so vibrant and 'alive'. NBA Live captures that and the atmosphere perfectly.

Key points = learn the controls...especially the D.

I am kind of excited by this game. If they really do keep updating it and add in some large updates like UFC and NHL have got regularly, this game could be really good by Christmas.

They must have activated the boundary force field it used to be a gameplay slider you could set in the game to prevent players from going out of bounds.

I'm not sure what the reasoning is behind it though....

that's like playing a football game and runners can never step out of bounds when tip toeing down the sidelines.

I honestly think dudes don't know or take time to learn live so they get frustrated and some outrageous things.. Seen a guy on twiiter say that live 15 is far worsebthan 14 lol

I've been doing a lot of CPU vs CPU and iI've seen a lot of good things in regards to game play. Just hope they refine the post game and not wait until live 16 because it is very, very bad at the moment.

Jose Calderon was getting torched by trey Burke while play ultimate team so the coached automatically switched Kobe on to Burke. Its things like that you guysvhave to look for.

Other than the post game the live team really improved on all the issues I personally had with game play last year

Really sad you can't exploit the pnr like las year tho. The CPU does a great job of defending it
