so true, that would have been a great marketing ploy...


surprised EA didnt do that, they obviously thought about it...maybe we can get steve to ask them that in the interview later this fall

but carmelo had to get a cover...stand out season

Jason Richardson used to do a lot of the motion capturing for the 2K games so that could be a pretty good reason, I think as recently as 2K3 in fact. Those kind of deals usually last a while.

I think as far as marketing is concerned from a business standpoint, Carmelo was the obvious choice. They already had him signed to a deal so no need to bring in anyone new, but thats best for the other thread.

I think the first thing I will do with the game is what I always do. Fix rosters and play a couple of exhibitions to get used to the feel for the game, maybe playing with some sliders along the way. Give the new allstar weekend a couple of runs. Check out the new dynasty to see how improved it is. Continue to tweak rosters and watch CPU vs CPU exhibitions and a dynasty to my hearts delight. In fact, I still do that last part with 2004. I just got finished fixing EVERYBODY's ratings based on last year's stats (they are SUPER accurate now) and I also just finished creating the 91-92 Bulls, with the 86-87 Lakers on deck.
