Hard cuts towards the hoop off picks can leave you wide open, you just have to poke and prod at the defense to get open. Be ready to pop when you get open. The problem a lot of players are facing in this game is over thinking their shots

Welp unfortunately since its too easy too Score in the paint no matter who is defending you, Ill just have to shelve this game until 2016.. you would think it would be easy to nerf the lay up contact success rate but it must be too difficult to achieve on their end.. oh well..

I don't know, I get plenty blocked on lay ups in this game. Lost a game to the Thunder in dynasty mode a couple days ago for that reason.

Every once in a while, you get a glimpse of what this game could be.

CPU Warriors busted my tail the other evening, as I was using the Suns.

They went 5-10 from 3 in the first half, Steph hit a 3 right in my grill, vs a good user close out, Klay hit a J's in transition, and off a step back, they swung the ball to the open man when I played "focus on stars" when I wanted to force the ball out of Steph's hands, and they did not force up slop in the post with Bogut.

The problem is you get these kind of games maybe 1 out of 5 times, and that isnt good enough.

I agree with this and have noticed sporadic consistency at times in the past. However, it's clear that they are still tweaking the game because I have noticed more steady and organized gameplay from the cpu as of the past few days. Are you playing in Dynasty or Tip off? Don't get me wrong, more work needs to be done but im seeing signs of life

i get the "held ball" often and i know how it happens. when the CPU is running a play (90% of the time it looks like the same play) where they swing the ball around and the big rotates on the post to go from one side to the other side where the ball is going, if u play the swing pass the offensive player at the top of the three point line wont pass it. and they wont reset the play....thus he will hold the ball. usually until the shot clock goes down then he will attempt a shot.

Oh man I got my rear handed to me last night in a dynasty mode game (All-star level or whatever the highest level in the game is) against the Cleveland Cavaliers. The last time the Hornets and the Cavs played (which was on their turf) we took the victory by 13. This time on Hornets' home turf we were brutally slaughtered by a score of 155-86. The entire team was off. Easy lay ups were missed, open shots with multiple green squares below the players' feet were missed.

On top of that Kyree Irving was just a beast last night from 3-point land going 9-10 enroute to scoring 59 points. He was untouchable. He would just side step my defense and shoot the jump shot (whether or not he was guarded or contested) and made them. After the game was over I felf like 3 inches tall for getting schooled that bad by a CPU.

Had to call it a night after such a brutal loss. Just didn't have it in me to carry on. The one positive note is that we are still the top team in the Eastern Conference.

I really tied to give Live a REAL chance. NO WAY IT IS A BETTER SIM GAME....NO WAY. The crowd/atmosphere is better on Live - FOR SURE!!! But that is pretty much it. The game can be almost comical when you look at it from a realistic perspective. (some shots around the hoop for example) The flow of the game, the pick and roll offense & defense are spot on in NBA 2K. It's just a much more realistic experience. Live MIGHT be a little more fun or exciting to a certain extent because of the atmosphere....escpecially in play-off mode!!! But as far as realistic....it's not in the same league. But the Soundtrack is great...the crowd and I even like hearing Van Gundy and Breen.

I got this game for PS4 when it was on sale for 20 bucks a few months ago. I really enjoy the game at times. Other times I find myself feeling happy that I only paid 20 for it.

For me, consistently, the game looks great and portrays a true atmosphere of an NBA arena. Commentary is excellent as well. The ESPN overlays are a plus. I think the team is on to something with the shooting system, but it is far too inconsistent and frustrating. 16 is their make or break season hands down

My sentiments exactly! I just finished a rather exciting dynasty game. There's definitely something there, but it is far too inconsistent. When I don't play the game for a few weeks or months, I enjoy it when I pick it back up. But when I play it consistently, I get frustrated to no end before putting it down. I'm cautiously optimistic about Live 16, though.

NBA Live 15 will be the last basketball game I will buy for awhile. I'm not big on buying yearly franchise sports games since I feel its essentially paying $60 for roster updates and some tweaking. While I bought 15 by cause it was cheap ($10) I found myself enjoying it even though I agree there are things that could and should be approved on.

The game has potential and I'd like to see what EA does with it over a couple of years before I decide to reinvest in the franchise. Until then I will happily continue playing 15.

For me this game isn't even on my shelf, Its in my trunk. I debate everyday should i trade it in, only thing that stops me is the fact the trade-in value is probably less than 5 bucks. Sad, but I cant get myself to play more than 3 mins of the game.

This game is complete garbage online.....honestly....complete garbage.

I had a better time with Live 14 online, I had a better time with Live 10 online 5 years ago......

This game has ZERO substance online, any player can hit anything in the paint. Shooting (with anyone) is completely pointless. I get extreme lag all of sudden (it wasn't like this earlier on in the season, maybe that was because nobody had the game in November). Why have updated rosters when everyone just goes into the IR and puts all the injured players back in (makes no sense, not sure why it was changed mid season).

I have zero anticipation for Live 16 right now....zero.

I bought Live 15 for $20 used on kijiji (only a few weeks after release) and honestly don't think the $20 was worth it. I collect the series (I have since a was just a young boy in the 90's).
