    WTF, is this game out already?, MELO was on Best Damn Sport Show, WITH THE GAME

    The guy there was advertising it and Held up box of the game, yes it was covered in plastic like when you buy a game.

              Stores like EB games always have empty, wrapped up boxes of soon to be released games, with a COMING, 9/14/2004,(or whatever date) sticker on it.

                                      A lot of players get the game early, not just the cover athlete. Self-proclaimed NBA Live super-fan Joe Johnson got Live 2004 pretty early.

                                                      Yeah, the game is done and probably has been for a few weeks now. A BUNCH of people get these games weeks before they are released(not TOO many, but it's definitely not resticted to cover athletes). Scott Van Pelt(I think that's his name, the Sportscenter guy....) had NCAA 2005 a couple weeks early this year(just an example). The game is done, it's just a matter of making the massive amount of copies they need to ship to all the stores while they hand out copies to the rich and famous, yet another perk of being paid ridiculous amounts of money to live a life in sports.
