No joke. The other guy offers assertions but no actual evidence.

I play the other game religiously, and I ain't no ball hog.

My assertion, for which i offer no evidence, is that the divide is between online players who have actually played basketball under a good coach in the real world, and everyone else.

Those under the first group *will tend* to play Live Run the right way and not ball hog. (They'll also tend to create players that aren't shooters or slashers, but rather bigs, stretch fours, etc.) Those in the other group will tend to play ugly, selfish basketball.

It's probably bad to generalise but they may be more right then wrong more often than not. For example, I've received 3 messages on psn from different people who claimed I was a "beast" player because I like to rebound and pass instead of shoot. I only score 2.5 points on MyPark yet i'm called a beast. haha

Again, people who have played Live more would know that taking a contest corner three will not do you any good

Lol I played a game today where some guy on the other team gave us a win because he would always get the inbound from the cpu and then try to score no matter what. He would force a shot every possession with no care to how open anyone on his team was. After a while we stated tripling him and he still refused to pass and would just chuck the ball from wherever he was when he picked up the dribble including a few half court shots.

At all....

OAN: I haven't touched the demo since the first day i downloaded it. The ball hogging was so terrible that it completely turned me off. It makes no sense to dribble for ten seconds then try and force your way into the paint and when that fails, jack up a shot from anywhere. I know its a video game but i still dont get it. Where does people play like this irl?

yah i hate playing with ball hogs,, ADD me on XBOX ONE- gt is- James Root if you know how to play basketball and like to play REALISTICALLY,, they have done a decent job on rewarding the other things than just scoring..like assisting , rebounding, and stealing,, but the defense teammate grade is a little buggy / inconsistent .. but i really think there going in the right direction with this one..

one idea i had was to deduct skill points of a play took and missed 4 or 5 straight shots...it would make people shy away from just taking to many shots in a row.
