Re: ASW Dunk help thread!
what i do is hold the button until i see the dunker holding the ball under the leg with both hands, basically when u release the button u're saying to the computer to finish off the dunk from position the dunker is at, so if he doesn't have a handle on the ball then when u release the button he'll drop the ball, so just wait until his other hand has touched the ball and then quickly release, he'll do it
anyways, its 1 of the easiest sick dunks u can do. all u have to do is like try the dunk like 4-5 times and just change the timing of your button release and u'll know when, u don't really need someone to tell u when to release for a dunk!
this thread is more for asking and telling people dunk combinations, u already know the combination now experiment with the timing!Comment

Re: ASW Dunk help thread!
quick question, how is there over 10,000 combos for the dunk contest? I've only seen a small amount of dunks and methods to do a dunk.
What is it, stepping 1 inch back counts as a combo?Comment

Re: ASW Dunk help thread!
think about it this way
how many ways are there to take off? now how many ways of finishing the dunk? now thats plenty of dunks already. add in a 360 to all those dunks and then add in all the baseline behind the net dunks. then how many different types of alleys are there? how many different places can the alley be thrown off of? now use the alley in combination with all the different dunks. and don't forget there's the front flip gather that can be used in a bunch of dunks too. Multiplying all those different combinations can easily add up to 10,000 dunksComment

Re: ASW Dunk help thread!
Not sure if this has been posted or not, but to do a behind-the-back dunk on an alley-oop do (on ps2) -
Right stick up (get behind the 3pt line, the area directly straight from the basket)
Hold Square (for the alley-oop)
L1 + O (hold it for a bit)
Not much compared to your guys dunks, but I think it looked awesome.Comment
