    Re: The Post Game ...

If you want to do better Post Moves then increase the Player Drop Step Effectiveness to 50My friend was using Jermaine O'neal against me. He turned him Hakeem Olajuwon.
wHen you get the ball into the mid post, do a pump fake, then press Triangle. or Triangle then a pump fake. his defender (if the player isnt a non defensive type) gets faked out to hell. They're not just biting the fake and jumping to block it, they're flying out of his sight leaving Jermaine WIDE open with no man in his way.

Its kinda like the missed steal animation where the "stealer" totally misses the steal and loses his balance.

    He repeatedly abused Christian Laettner.

        Re: The Post Game ...

I made a post about the 3 or 4 different "bigman" combos I use, but I'll simplify it.

        USE THE TRIPLE-THREAT CONTROLS!

They work even better for your big man than they do for the perimeter players. Get the ball in the post (don't post up...just get the ball w/ your back to the basket) Hit "up" on the right stick to face up, and then you can HOLD right, left or down on the right stick to make your big man utilize 3 different "stances" (IE, one makes him palm the ball and hold it up away from the defender...another stance has him holding the ball with both hands, doing little jab steps etc...). "Up" makes him go back to facing away from the rim.

Anyway, you can do different hooks, up and unders, and drives from those triple-treat stances. Simply release the rt stick to make him penetrate, and remember to hit one of the shoot buttons right after he goes into his animation. Mix in a "Y" button to make him power-dribble in the middle of the drive animation, and you'll be amazed at some of the sequences that unfold.

98% of this stuff was already in the game last year.... You can usually get the best results with these around the high post...doing it too deep will usually result in the big man putting up the shot behind the backboard.

They made Yao too strong. He dominates the post...his strength rating is above Mutombos!
