Re: Curious CPU BIg Men AI....
Finally had some promising results. Played against Houston and Yao scored 27 on me to lead the Rockets(only TMac took more shots). I changed the double team to off for all players and I went and changed Houston's Offensive Strategy to Stagger. I play them again next week, I will try both of those agian, hopefully get some more good results.Comment

[QUOTE=CM1847]Another game, same frustration....
Played Minnesota, expecting Garnett to dominate....
While he did have 20 points, THREE other players had more shots than him. Cassell took 14 shots, scoring 14 points, Sprewell took 16 scoring 16 and Wally took 30 shots scoring 22.

You DO realise Spree and Sammy OFTEN take more shot's than KG, right????
In the real NBA.
In this game...for those of you who want Duncan and KG getting the ball all the time, it's pretty simple...just edit their PRIMACY ratings up to 99.
Simple.Comment

As for Primacy, i looked into that and Duncan's is over 20 points higher than Parker or Ginobili(and Parker is a PG, their's is always a little bit higher). KG's is also 15-20 higher than Cassell, Spree or Wally(Wally's is like 40 or something like that). When a guy's primacy is far and away higher than anyone else's on the team, I doubt raising them a little bit will be productive. Especially if their Primacy rating comes into play in FA signing, I don't want TD or KG being FAs because they didn't get the ball every possesion and won't re-sign with their Primacy's at 99.Comment

Re: Curious CPU BIg Men AI....
whenever i play houston, yao always has a good quarter to quarter-and-a-half where he dominates, basically scoring at will. other than that, he plays so-so, but he always finishes with a good number of points.
i think this is supposed to replicate a guy just going off and being unstoppable for a while. it's rare that someone does this all game, even duncan and KG. duncan only scored 22.3 ppg last year.Comment

NCAA Football 2005 had this a lot too. I would blow out teams in the first half and they would catch fire in the second half and the final score would end up reasonable. Looking at final scores and stats for that and for the big men here you really can't complain too much, it's just odd how they end up with those stats.Comment
