HMccoy, do you have an xbox roster with EA's official SHaun Livingston and Bull96's Michael Jordan CAP. if you could send it to me, i can try to unlock Michael Jordan's ID pic (mugshot) so that bullls96's jordan CAP will be able to use it.

WOWWWW!!! I went through all 7 pages of this thread and bats and airkobe made something out of nothing. I dont know anything about modding or the stuff you guys are doing. I want to know how you guys do it. Do you put the game disc in the computer then rearange the info on it and burn it to another cd. I gurantee to you guys if you give me the basics on how to do this stuff I could greatly contribute to modding the rosters and things like that. Even make the olympic teams and ndbl teams. I have ps2 so how would i get it started with modding for that?????? PLEASE HELP

your outta luck google is your best friend. Investing in the tools will set you back a few hundred bucks, not worth it for 1 game especially since you said you never done it before. They frown upon mod chipping talk here so thats why that guys question didnt get answered. there are tons of dedicated mod sites for modding games like Half-Life and whatever game you might be interested in this is a Sports site not many people modding here.

Here are the screenshots of the day

I've made some shots of my tv in order to show you some basic jersey and faces patches.

I was testing the import module of my tool and I tried to do a quick and dirty import of jordan's face.
I took his face from a PC 2004 patches, added the eye and mouth picture, then imported it with my tool instead of ben gordon face, so that i have a bulls player with jordan face.
And then, I laugh a lot. My face path was far from perfect, as my face's geometry from Live 2004 didn't match the 2005 one.(The eye were too close for example).
The result is something like a alien version of Jordan

As you can see, I changed only his number because it is not possible to change original's players name.
I know i have to do some dbc editing in order to have correct player name, but i'll see that later.

However, can someone please try to make a face patch for jordan, based on the faces I posted yesterday ??
I don't really have time to do this myself, but it will be fun to see if we manage to have a good looking jordan ingame !

For the jersey, it is simplier. I just added operation sports logo for my test but we can do whatever we want.
We'll just have to make an empty white template and use it to make the patches.

Good news I was afraid it wouldnt let us import jerseys because MVP baseball would freeze if the jerseys were changed, maybe your utility will allow jersey imports also for MVP.

wow..i remember being a huge mod freak and getting all the pacthes for NBA live 2000.I may trade in espn for this game now...

can smeone just explain how this is done thought?
