This sounds similar to the Madden comeback garbage. And to think I was about to give up on Madden for good and play Live. It must be an EA thing. On Madden, you can bet your house if you're stoning the computer, they will rack up insane offensive numbers in the second half, etc, skewing to hell all of the stats. I mean, I think about all the time I spend on these games, getting the rosters perfect, etc. When, come to think of it, I haven't finished a season in years for Madden or Live, because of this totally unrealistic computer comeback, stat skewing b.s. Is it so damn hard for EA to make the dominant teams dominant, and have them bury weak teams? Thats a true simulation. Not having the freaking Clippers or Browns come back on you EVERY single f-ing game, racking up insane numbers like they're the 80's Lakers or 49ers.

This is the single-most underestimated quote of the thread...

When the CPU starts to make their little run on me I run a "full shot clock" offense where the ball either goes in the post or into the hands of my superstar w/ 5 seconds left on the shot clock. Make or miss, this is a momentum killer for the CPU. If I am scripted to miss on that possesion, at least I'm taking 24 seconds with me.

The problem is that the'yre not actually making huge 10-0 runs. its' more like lot's of 4-2 , 5-3 runs. That's why it isnt obvious. EA did a good job of hiding the catchup AI this year...

I agree, it's very hidden. It's funny how you are playing and trying to hardest to play defense, and a player will spot up for a mid-range shot, and bust it on two or even three people in his face, and this doesn't just happen at random, I feel like it happens at the right time so the cpu can have some way of making a comeback or something.

i'm 3 and 6 in my rockets dynasty and 2 of the 3 wins were over 15 points so i'm sorry i don't believe in the catch up ai. But like the 2nd post said the nba is a game of runs that i do see in the game and i like it.

HA! EA must be giving the CPU players experimental vitamins! That must be the reason why a 70 Speed Leandro Barbossa was able to beat 88 Speed rated Jay-Wil on a fastbreak never minding that Jay-Wil had an almost HALF-COURT lead. Whatever those vitamins are EA, I WANT 'EM!
