nba live 2006 needs this to be the perfect basketball game:

classic teams (75 of them)
team practice
every nba team have their own playbook
1 on 1, 2 on 2, 3 on 3, 4 on 4, and 5 on 5 mode
custom soundtracks for the xbox and pc version
every nba player needs to have their own free throw shot
every nba player needs to have their own jump shot or set shot
their need to be sweat when players are very tired (the same as espn nba 2k5 basketball)
need a real camera view
every nba player need their correct body and real muscles
they need to have a real fastbreak game (just like espn nba 2k5 basketball)
needs rivalry games (like in ncaa march madness 2005)
needs to take away the hockey sliding that every player do (it happen in nba live 2004 and nba live 2005. this time ea sports get rid of that. please do)
the cross over needs to be more effective and more like real life
need more slam dunks in the game
need more slam dunks in the slam dunk contest
need more nba jerseys
need more nba arena
need the floor play calling system (just like in march madness 2005)
they need more freestyle moves when a player is in the air
they need mini games (they need all the all-star games stuff that was in this 2004 year)

Off topic: Has anyone noticed how good they made Jalen Rose?! He consistently hits about 30 on me and takes most of Toronto's shots. Carter plays like he does now - he scores about 20 points and has about 5 or 6 assists - but Rose is just unstoppable.

Tell me about it. I play a tournament every year to decide who I will use in franchise and I threw the Raptors in there as some first round fodder for Cleveland. I was promptly spanked and sent to the locker room as Rose dropped about 30 on me in a 5 min quarter game, driving to the baseline, spinning and hitting turnaround after turnaround over two defenders. Draining threes from all over the place. I figured it was a fluke and played them with the Knicks in the 2nd round. This time he was contained but still drilled many shots with a man in his face as the Raptors rolled into my Easten Conference finals.

When guys like Charlie Ward walk down guys like Franics or Marbury from behind when they are in the open court and beat them to the front of the rim making you have to set up your offense...that is the worst!

YES!!! This is a gamekiller in my opinion.

I don't have any problem at all with auto substitutions. I play 5 minute quarters also. Set you global fatigue slider to 55. Set your team substitution slider to 60, the same for your opponents. Or play around with it in this range. Should work fine!

As far as someone mentioning tweaking to get rid of to many blocks.......it doesn't take tweaking at all, just turn the sliders all the way to 0. There will still be to many blocks, but it's not quite as irritating.

Is it me or did they shrink the court from last year just a bit. What's with the big out of bounds areas? I have trouble getting satisfied with my camera size. Last year I didn't have any problems with it.

They still need to get rid of that super speed movements from time to time, that pisses me off. I turned mine all the way down to Rookie or whatever the lowest level is because it doesn't do it there, then I adjusted all my sliders way the heck down, and my opponents up a bit. Seems to be more enjoyable and realistic for me.

I'm sure EA will jump right on this list for you inluding the sweat thing since this actually effects game play....PLEASE!

Dude you listed things that are already in the game Jerseys, dunks, free-style moves and a few others. I don't see a problem with those things. Essentially what you are asking for is a rebuilt game from the ground up which is not likely to happen. The game is great not perfect but still pretty good basketball overall if you adjust your sliders.

one thing i hate about nba live 2005 is that it has no custom soundtracks for the xbox version of the game. my first and everybody else first wish list for nba live 2006 is custom soundtracks for the xbox version. listening to all of these music everytime i play nba live 2005 gets really bored very fast. come on now ea sports please listen to me and put custom souondtracks for nba live 2006 for the xbox version.

Speak for yourself. I can care less about custom soundtracks. It adds nothing to gameplay, which is 80% of the game.

You could fill the menus with Yanni and John Tesh, force me to play it at full volume and it wouldn't do a damn thing to help the game. If they fixed nothing else but custom soundtracks, I would be livid.

They need to fix:

1) blocks PLEASE
2) fast breaks
3) PG prevalence (it's not huge but its there)
4) cpu assists

Not trying to pick on you, but I don't understand for the life of me how things like custom soundtracks and shoes effect gameplay. Gameplays is and always should be the #1 priority by far.

I hate that you cant pass without tha players ahead stopping to catch the ball. They need to fix this so you can have realistic transition fast breaks.
