All valid points, all I know is when NBA Live had customization options there sales were vastly larger. It gives guys options when playing the game. The other game has College Rosters, High School Rosters, FIBA Rosters and more.

Guess we will have to wait and see.

It was also a better game at that time . Gameplay wise.

What did I tell you guys.. Synergy is a mask, you guys really have no clue what that is. I should break it down, then you'll really understand.. That if you really want to hear my take on it. I have been saying the highlighted for years..

What did I tell you guys.. Synergy is a mask, you guys really have no clue what that is. I should break it down, then you'll really understand.. That if you really want to hear my take on it. I have been saying the highlighted for years..

If you can break it down, then please do so -- as someone who has strictly been a 2K player, I don't know jack about synergy beyond the basics (which, judging by your response, seems like there's more going on than the players know).

If there is no roster editing, that's profoundly disappointing -- especially in light of all the good things Live has shown off in the last day or so. Roster editing is a feature that's so dated that I could boot up a copy of Kobe Bryant's NBA Courtside -- from 1998 -- and edit the basic things about any created player in that game.

And just to make sure I wasn't remembering incorrectly, I DID boot my copy of Courtside up (N64 version) and, lo and behold, I had made myself and put me on the Rockets at some time in the past. It looks abysmal on a 40 inch TV screen, but my God does its soundtrack bring back some old memories.

We're in 2017. If I can't do a basic thing like that -- create a player, edit him to my liking, stick him on whatever team I want -- than why should I buy that game?

EA is asking us to trust them with the adjustments to the players and teams? This being the same EA that ran Live into the ground and so harmed its reputation that it took a year off?

I would like it if EA gave its player the same agency that 2K does along with solid gameplay. I don't see why I should have to accept that you can't have both at the same time, when Live used to be capable of that and 2K is still capable of that.

Thanks for sharing that information. Saved me some money. I am done waiting on this series. Guys will be bored in two months with this game. Sadly they ask for feedback for YEARS but continue to ignore. They said the same thing for Live 16 about adding in Roster editing was something they wanted.

Thanks for sharing that information. Saved me some money. I am done waiting on this series. Guys will be bored in two months with this game. Sadly they ask for feedback for YEARS but continue to ignore. They said the same thing for Live 16 about adding in Roster editing was something they wanted.

If it were in the game or even being considered a Development team member would have made a comment saying something like more news to come. Silence for me means it isn't happening.

Yeah I asked him if he was serious and said there was no actual comment made by any developers regarding the inclusion of roster editing. I wouldn't count it out just yet.
