Being a sim player like myself I dont think I would be a great fit for live when 2k is on the market and is so refined, but if the gameplay is fun and balanced I think Live could get a great footing on the Pro-Am and Park players. Definitely looks improved.

I think they may restrict you to only 3 archetypes in the demo.

I don't know as it's downloading for me now, so I'll see soon to confirm for myself.

I'll be highly upset if I can't play as a Hybrid Wing or Stretch Four.

Not from what I saw on one of the live streams; at least for PG, they had every archetype available, so I imagine it's the same for wings.

First impressions:

The pace of the drew Leauge is awesome. It feels like an exhibition game because there is a certain flow to it that makes it feel fun and relaxed. The game is much much smoother but I'm gunna have to learn the dribble controls because I'm losing the ball left and right.

maybe the additional archatypes you have to unlock. like you start as a defensive wing and can evolve into a hybrid wing? i dont know, waiting for this download to be to done lmao!

Played for about 2 hours. The game sucks (i'm totally kidding)! It's actually the completely opposite. As a sim guy, this game does a lot (and i mean a lot) of things correct. The dribbling and driving is the most realistic I've seen in any basketball video game. Help rotates over correctly for the most part to force lower percentage shots when you drive the paint. The speed is lovely. LBJ fast break... Nuff said!

I got blown out by the warriors, and i loved every minute of it. Largely because they played and made the kind of shots that they were suppose to make.

Kyrie felt wonderful. He got past anyone almost anytime he wanted, and this was on superstar i believe. Theres a good amount of layup packages in the game from what i seen when i was playing the one mode. They even have an Isaiah Thomas package.

The only complaint i have right now is that too many tough contested layups are falling for both the user and the CPU. Other than that, We have a very solid basketball game here on our hands from what i can see.
