I have been playing play now cavs vs warriors. You unlock it by playing the one mode. On pro i blow out the cpu but on allstar the cpu blows me out. It seems like you have to adjust sliders to get a balance. On default there is too many blocks. I turned down the blocking ability for human and cpu to 40 from the 50 default to test it out.
The free throws feel off. It seems to go by its own release point rather then player animation of their release. Its like you have to release earlier then what the player is doing.
Some of the sliders do not seem to have a toggle for the demo. I was trying to go shooting percentage only but did not see any option to change it. I will look more into it later to see if i missed something.
I wish their was a zoom out option you could toggle on the camera angles to configure to your liking it. There only seems to be turn off zoom in the paint but not a way to configure zooming out overall of the court.
I like the fronting in the post into shots, dunks, and some of the lay up animations from the guards like curry and irving. Substitution during timeouts are straight forward and calling plays are easy to get done whether its quick play or calling for a specific player.Comment

I honestly can't comment on gameplay much yet. But I absolutely love how they do everything else when it comes to progression and leveling up and all that.
I really like how screens work both ways. You can fight through and it's not suction. And on offense you have to hold it down through, takes getting used to, but you have more flexibility telling the AI what to do.
I do wish I could customize the camera a little more. Seems kind of zoomed in too much.
Shooting feels great.

EA and 2k have the unfortunate task of trying to balance on a tightrope of fun and sim while trying not to fall 10,000 feet to their death. Instead of a safety net waiting down below there will just be angry customers quick to move out of the way and talk of their failure.Comment

Considering they got the date wrong, I wouldn't use them as a source especially when it was the only one saying this.

Yeah RS is used as dribble and shoot by default.
Holding the stick down will give you all your step/spin back shots- it works well...
Holding it up will give you yoir straight jump shots....
I dont know if its just me but dribbling in itself still feels a bit clunky...Comment

Hmm wonder how it will all feel in comparison to 2k. What's your preference for shooting so far?
Does dribbling and shooting feel any better different than Live 16? Less clunky more clunky? Sorry for all the questions figured I'd ask while your here. Much appreciated!Comment
