There is 2 new community showdown events. QJB and Jesser the Lazer. The themed crate rewards are for the hornets and clippers. It felt less laggy, i noticed my teamates were knocking down open 3's. But there was one ball hog that ruined the experience as usual, thought he was a prime allen iverson dribbling the shot clock out and jacking up contested 3,s lol

EA is usually pretty good when it comes to player model proportions. Leg limb lengths, arms limb length, player's height with respect to other players. The major issue causing that "uncanny valley" effect simply comes down to their animations. The slow bounce to get the ball past half court is one of their better looking animations. A dirty way of looking at the issue that affects a lot of their animations is that everything has a "tense muscle" look to them.

For one thing, just the simple act of walking with Live isn't representative of how a human would walk. Example, if you look at the link below, you should be able to see a difference. You may not be able to pinpoint exactly what the problem is, but it's definitely there.

Yes, keen observation. That awkward slanted walk after timeouts and before the tip-off has been present since 15 or 14, as I recall. It does stick out like a sore thumb, however, in Live 18 in particular, once the actual game commences, take a much closer look at the walk animation. They have cleaned it up quite a bit and the slant walk is not apparent. My guess is that those specific animation sequences, as described above, have been untouched for some time, unfortunately, and does draw away from the immersion. As you pointed out, this should be addressed to allow for more consistency.

Icon passing needs an adjustment.

The pg is always blue like 16 yet changes to green when held to coordinate colors with Xbox controller. Not sure how it is on PS but really causing issues for me when trying to pass to X or A with the color changes. Prefered the 16 way better.

Open shots are money now. I hope the average players can't duplicate these high percentage open jumpers like curry and durant. I couldnt miss lol. I will test it out later.

One thing to keep in mind, Live has never claimed to be a sim. Play it for what it is, and have some fun..

People for all games now forget that's what its all about lol. I miss the NBA street NBA ballers days. Just have some fun. This is the best NBA live since 05 for me and I already pre ordered.
