Color me impressed. I'll probably buy both. Live will be my single player mode game, while 2K will be my main game for online head to head games.

Personally, I LOVE the simplicity of Live. 2K was starting to get too complex for me. Making substitutions was starting to be a pain in the butt in 2K. Plus, I like how I don't have to " fight" the game for control of my player.

Lastly, the 39.99 price point is not too bad.

All depends on if there are injuries in played games in Dynasty mode.

No. Unless if there is a real good deal around holidays. But that's not saying I didn't like what I played in Demo. I liked the One seems like it got more depth than I expected. Like that you start out as a higher OVR, but you can't buy XP and have to grind. Even though it seems too frequent that you get a Skill Point after every street game.

But this seem like a game you would buy if your mainly just going to play Street/Drew. Not much depth outside the mode. But I do plan on waiting to buy 2k until Black Friday, so I will Game Fly this game from start of season until Black Friday . I want to wait until beginning of season to start playing this game just in case in trades go down before season

40/60 buy/not buy. Demo was better than expected but I need more info on the game modes before I make a decision. EA always makes me nervous about what they will do with their franchise modes and I can't help but worry that what we get in The One mode is the main part and the actual game doesn't actually add much else.

Absolutely not. Lack of off ball movement on offense has made it an easy decision. May be fun for online purposes but for someone who wants to run real offenses in the game, definitely not purchasing at this point. It seems as tho no play art visuals appear on screen and you can't call more than quick plays. Takes away every bit of realism I can hope for as far as running an offense goes.

I give some respect to EA for making more progress than I expected them to, but the "Live is Back" chant is still laughable. Even at $40 it won't be worth a buy over 2K18.

I will say that if you could run seasons with WNBA teams I would be significantly more inclined to purchase. Was let down to hear it is for play now only.

Yea I snagged a preorder, with EA access was $36, the devs deserve the money on this it's fun.

Hoping the Xbox X version gets a nice visual upgrade like the Pro has, HDR would be nice

Definite buy for me. Usually around this time of year I signup for EA Access for a couple of months so I can get the discount on Madden and early access. So the game for $35 is an absolute steal. Normally I grab NBA 2K every year but I may sit out this year as I feel like this game kind of appeals more to the casual player such as myself. Love it so far.

You and I are kind of in the same boat. I don't see Live being able to touch MyLeague/GM and that is my main game mode. So if I am going to buy it I am trying to answer the following questions:

                                1. How much of The One will I play? I am not a big MyPlayer fan on 2k. The micro transactions are annoying, it takes forever to raise your ovr with out them and it takes forever to load on pretty much every screen. The One has it beat in every one of those categories and I don't think it is even close. It was very refreshing game experience. However I need two things, is there more to the story mode than what we saw in the demo and do you ever become part of a offense once you make it in the NBA or is it still just go wherever and everyone stands around? After I know all of that I will decide how much I would play it or not.

                                2. How much will I play online? The whole 2k online street stuff is a huge turn off for me for many of the reasons that I stated above. Another big reason though is because that game is so animation driven that stuff that looks great when you are playing the Cavs vs the Warriors can get annoying when it is 3 on 3 HC. Live has them beat here also for me but I just don't know that I will play this game mode enough once the season starts and I get in some GM modes.

                                3. Big Moments. I owned 16 pretty just for this. I d/l it on Access and would play all of them as soon as they updated. Is that enough to buy? Not sure yet.

                                4. Intangibles. Does offense get better with the real game? What the heck will their franchise look like? Online 'chise? Etc...

Right now this is what I keep asking my self about this game.
