What people fail to realize is that EA is not competing with Visual Concepts! These companies are in bed together and the NBA is the camera man... That's the 100% truth.. THE ONE? NEW OPEN WORLD MY CAREER? Same thing... One is setting trends and the other is setting the bar!! #FACTS

When people wake up and smell the coffee I hope that they see the difference between the two and notice both titles aren't where they should be!!! EA released a demo long time ago. They have nothing to worry about!

EA has a lot to be worried about. Week one is going to be huge for Live. They need great, not good numbers. It's either sink or swim at this point.

I'm a grown man in my 30s and I'm American and in super hyped for 2k so it's definitely not strictly for the kids. By your logic then video games is meant for the kids which is totally untrue.

I refuse to help litigate or onslaught and early mid-life crises with this reply and game mode!! I'm not saying that anyone of any age or nationality couldn't enjoy this lame brain goofiness but I won't be.. What would I look like saying " Bruh, let's go get cut up, go to the gym, and grab some sneaks on the way to the playground while our grown kids sit and watch???? That's too goofy.. The hood would take your pass for that lol!! Nothing man.. You have no idea!!! My point: The truth is sooooo transparent and at this point were talking about morals as an adult sports gamer.

Who cares what 2k is doing?

There is a whole other forum to discuss that.

NBA Live is bringing a very solid fun game that plays a game that I really like and has some good modes. I don't need a whole bunch of other stuff in my game. Has a nice story mode and Live is designed to value my time (and money). I can get good games in as quickly as I need and can explore several different modes.

This game is all I need this year.

i think i understand where youre coming from because we have a similar outlook on the info dropped by the other game, however a ton of folks are really excited young and old (i know age wasnt your point).

i hope it all works out the way its promised.

i understand being excited, i feel that way for live this year! ever since they showed the Chosen One tourney in philly was in game - I WAS SOLD.

- i love the real parks
- i love the gameplay of live
- i love the character models! and archetypes
- i cant wait to continue The One and im usually not into the story mode on sports games

what concerns about live
- some weird looking animations
- i REALLY hope at some point we have the option to play 4qtr games in pro am

its all about just hooping and im loving the demo. to me the game plays like real basketball.

my advice sir, we're never gonna convince them to see it our from view same way theyll never convince us all that extra stuff is for us. its all good, option baby 😎

live has a REAL opportunity to sway folks like you and i this year. i really hope they capatilize

So sad... Why do you always post on anti 2K threads with total disregard? Do you even read through threads and fully understand what people say before you try exacerbating? You did the same thing on EA FORUMS for years and it seems a bit repugnant at this point!

It seems like EA's new marketing strategy is no marketing.

Barely anything about Madden was released before the game came out.

We might see some stuff this coming week, hopefully. I should also have my review copy soon.

What is overall health of EA, and EA Sports, specifically? Are they in financial straits or something?

They are doing great overall. Stock price was $119/share today.

MUT literally prints money.

If they were hurting at all they wouldn't have invested in NBA Live. They want that brand badly. They are willing to invest tons into getting Live to be a viable franchise.

My biggest question, is why haven't they brought back baseball.

I'm also a bit surprised that in today's world of exclusives for every damn thing out there, the NBA continues to not be interested in have an exclusive NBA video game. And good for them.

Agreed, glad the NBA doesn't capitalize on 2K's success and just take all of their money for exclusive rights...or that 2K didn't pull an EA.

As I stated before I don't expect anything else big or surprising to be announced but what about some more gameplay? I'm tired to seeing the Cavs and Warriors, I want to see some raw gameplay of other teams and the WNBA, what's taking to long for the gameplay to come out?
