Me as well. I'm MeAndBettyWhite on PS4 and XBOXONE. I'll be playing it on XBOXONE during EAaccess but I bought the game for PS4 after that.

Definitely keen to see some actual passing in game and not just a guard or wing sprinting towards the hoop.

Spending games completely open in various spots as a stretch big is frustrating, or as above the classic rebound pass to the guard who just turbos towards the hoop.

Played one great game with a slasher guard who would use screens well, then pass and move.

The pass button doesn't exist for who ever plays the point. Guess they forgot the purpose of a PG. I can't believe how bad it is out there.

yep its been really bad if my friends are not playing with me. Randoms or Randies as we call them are atrocious this year. I think this may be the worse batch of ball hog randies I've ever witnessed. Lol.

I will say this. i got on yesterday after all the updates to the demo. and had the same problem early in the game. I wasnt the pg. I'm a SG. But the guys realized that what they were use to working pre update no longer worked. they finally passed me the ball on a cut. i scored. the next time. hit the open guy off a pick and roll. the next time i set the a back screen to free up a guy who got the ball for a basket. they then realized "we're playing with a real basketball player." and they started giving me the ball to more or less run the show. and we won with all sorts of ball and player movement. I dont have to run the show. I will play my role IF...and thats a big IF... the other guys are moving the ball around and moving off ball as well. If you can't organize yourself..fine I'll do it.

The couple of games I played where I had solid teammates were really fun. But that was maybe 2 out of 20 games. Just gotta vent for a minute...

Of course you get the heroballers, but last night I had an entire team that refused to get back on defense. No joke, we'd give up a dunk almost every possession. I'm a 6' PG, so not much I could help with there. Then in another game, everyone felt like they had to guard the guy with the ball. Triple teams as soon as the ball handler passed half court. Had one game where my point shooter was wide open on every single possession, either in the corner or on the wing. Never got one pass. They just kept spamming into the paint and missing contested layups. I don't think I've ever seen more than 3 passes in a possession.

Usually what happens is I'll start a game, I watch the hero ballers do their thing, I play good defense, space the floor, and then when I finally get the ball when we're down 15-4, I'll make a play and they realize they probably should be inbounding the ball to the PG who doesn't have tunnel vision and actually wants to set others up to score. By then it's too late.

My build is a 6' point shooter, but my play style is more of a playmaker. A Steve Nash type. I'm only looking to shoot when I'm open. I enjoy breaking down the defense and finding the open man, taking care of the ball, and not being an idiot on defense. If you're open you're getting passed to. I picked point shooter over playmaker because I'd rather have the shooting over finishing inside.

yes! i believe in the one mode you can play against the AI in proam tournaments (boss battles) across the country

Maan I was the same guy that you described lol. That's why I switched to another character by creating a Center. In worst case scenario I get rebounds & defend the rim.

I suggest you to do the same

I had to give up on the All star challenge because of moronic teammates. Ball hogging is one thing but refusing to guard your man is unbearable to watch, especially when most of them are 3pt specialists. I love how Live punishes poor steal attempts by making you stumble past your man taking you out of the picture, much better than 2k's fouls every minute. You'd think it would stop guys running to my man, hit steal, falling past him and then his wide open man gets the ball and makes the 3.

When you do get teammates who pass and play D, it is an absolute joy to play (and usually an easy win).

anybody looking for good team ball to hoop with add me BigHomieCoach or coachcolbert PSN. But my guys do talk a lot - nothing malicious! same talk youll hear on any playground in the world BUT it can work a nerve ot you let it.

I'll add you when I'm around my PS4, I can tell you're like minded to us folk. I pretty much roll with a set group of dudes (We play other games with each other so there might be inside jokes) but I can fit into yours if yall ever have room and we'd welcoming you too. Same deal with my crew, we'll screw around and talk a lot but it's all fun.

Yea, it is getting out of hand, you rarely get a good game, and i played a lot of live run, #NBALIVE18 thee mode is very fun, pro-am live run, but the ppl lack is basic basketball fundamentals. Basketball is a simple game, Pass the ball if ANYBODY, is open, shoot, rebound , defend and put the ball in the basket, if anybody on OS, serious about Live -Run , holla @ me, psn SimBasketball215, say u from OS, if u ask for a request, Rim Protector
