Fixed

Deleted profile saves and save game info associated to NBA live in Xbox settings and restarted game and I can load franchise games now

Try this

GO to settings
Then system
Then storage
Then manage storage
Hit a and select view contents
Find nba live 18
Hit the start button or whatever it's called. The little one on the right middle of controller
Select Manage game
Select saved data and delete the profile saved data and the reserved space data

I believe you lose any progress made on the trial but I can confirm you keep any progress made in demo

I know this is going to sound dumb but ppl with the infinite load problem in franchise do you use a face scan for your player in the one?

I couldn't load franchise games till I deleted my save data and played about 5 games no problem.

I then realized that when I deleted my save data that my face scan was gone so I reloaded it on my guy and boom, couldn't load franchise games anymore.

I deleted my saved game file again and I can now play franchise games again.

Like I said that probably sounds crazy but i tried it again. If I add my face scan I can't load franchise games lol.

Nice find on the fix. Hopefully they get that patched right away so you don't need to keep re-downloading your scan and deleting save data.

I wonder, would it work if you just changed your guy to one of the preset faces instead of deleting the save data? That would be a bit more manageable.

I can confirm, just changing your gameface to a premade will start a franchise game.

I got the retail version for PS4 today and having a game face doesn't conflict with franchise. So either they fixed it or it's exclusive problem to the trial.

I have this on Xbox One, too, and started with the infinite franchise loading issues. Then played a few The One games and that started doing the same thing. I'm redownloading the game now (didn't read this first) and then will try changing my from my scanned face, too. I'll report back.

You can have a face scanned player. Just create a second non face scanned generic player. Before you load your franchise make that player your active player. If you did it right you will see him on the loading screen.

So, my The One career started infinite loading with the face-scanned player, too, so I'll just stick with a preset for now.

So glad you guys posted this. I wouldn't have thought this could cause the issue. Everything's working for me again.

My son just sent me a text and said he had this same problem (unable to start his first franchise game). He's on xbox one and he is also using his face scan for The One. Told him the trick above (creating a second created player with a generic face and making that the active profile)...and he said it worked. He is now able to start his first franchise game.
