Dont know if they touched gameplay but i played first quarter 12 minutes all star and the cpu run some offense pick and roll passes stepbacks ,

This BS needs to stop.

The gameplay and AI does not get patched every time someone sees something new.

The game is dynamic. It's not the scripted, predictable game many of you have come from.

If you play good D, you'll see the CPU play pretty realistic and varied offenses.

Sometimes the CPU will attack the basket, sometimes theyll barrage you with threes, sometimes theyll iso, sometimes theyll run a bunch of plays, shooting midrange, sharing the ball etc. That's NBA Live.

Back to the roster update, nice to see some trades but the missing players, aka Spurs - still haven't been added and I still can't (don't want to) play them in Franchise mode.

Brandon Paul, the rookie, I can understand, but Davis Bertans was always on the roster and played decent minutes last year (and will be a key player this year) so there's no excuse for him to be excluded.

If it is not scripted at all, then why does the CPU always go back up after an offensive rebound? They can have three shooters open and have two defenders between them and the basket, but that CPU big who got the ORB is going to charge into traffic and try and auto put back that ORB.

Because you’re coached from youth all the way to the nba to never pass the ball out away from the hoop. Draw the contact and foul and take it up strong. Not one coach ever says look for a shooter. Period.

Not criticising you, but I am surprised people are expecting more. Roster updates for this series have always been weekly (at best) and there have always been missing players, guys on wrong teams etc.

I can't remember why, but somone explained it all during Live 16. I.e. There is actually a reason the rosters are updated so slowly / often missing players.

It was something to do with EA only updates weekly...all their games are the same.

The roster issue was something along the lines of each team needs a certain amount of players on the roster....and thus if you send two players to their correct new team, but there is no created player to replace them on the roster and their old team then falls below the right amount of players, thing will not work. I.e. each team has to have a certain amount of players.

Really though, it is just that EA are very poor when it comes to roster stuff. In the history of this game, I cannot recall ever seeing anything close to a 100% accurate roster.

It would be good if they focussed more on getting it right.

Man I thought Paul and Bertans were maybe in the inactive section, I just never bothered looking...how in the world is Bertans not in the game?
