thats not at all what we are saying. but this is what happens when you try to simplify what we said in paragraphs into one sentence. lol.
We all have admitted when the thread started that we have no idea if it works anymore. There was one of those early lives/synergy where You could see some of it working. But now i have no idea if it is or it isnt. I'm only pointing out how it SHOULD work if it DOES work. Pure theory. nothing more. nothing less.
What I'm saying is, the way people talk about roster editing. No matter how legit the Live and synergy relationship could be. There would still be this population of roster editing guys/gals who would be upset if they couldnt change the rosters, and edit people. no matter how legit or realistic it already was due to legit data. If that is the case, and we know it is. Then that means these people are not necessarily looking for the most realistic experience. they are looking for their own personal experience. which is fine. but perhaps the live team at some pointed wanted to attempt to provide us with the most realistic nba experience possible. right there is a conflict from the start with the roster editing community. basically some say they need the ability to make things right. but in reality thats not the true reason. the truth is, you want roster editing because you like to tinker with the rosters. which is fine by me. you paid X amt of dollars for the game. i get it. you also have to look at all that negative publicity they received for some of their older lives(deserved). Someone could edit some rosters, and throw up fake videos making live look bad on youtube. "Look at this guy... how is it that classic teams lakers have a shaq doing step curry crossovers and hitting 3's."
automatic turnoff and a non purchase for those who watched the video or just saw the title of the video and thought thats not realistic. I'm not buying that game. lets not act like this aint the era for that kind of nonsense. it is. people right now are so easily fooled/duped with stuff like that. its not even funny.
So perhaps they believe, if they lock down the editing but at the same time give you the most realistic players based on legit scouting. Then how can anyone really complain about the game not being realistic?
