Re: Play Calling Short Video
Loved the PG step back, looked super smooth! Something that 2k can’t get right. -
Re: Play Calling Short Video
When it gets to the sub menu etc...it looks too big and takes up too much of the screen imo while playing...game looks smoother...that celebration PG does at the end of the video needs to go..got him looking like he just had a seizure[emoji23]

Re: Play Calling Short Video
This video, along with the advanced passing tutorial video, looks solid. Still looks like Live but animations look smoother and more fluid. I wonder when this build is from because Leonard is still on the Spurs in the video. Game might look even better when we get our hands on the demo.Comment

Re: Play Calling Short Video
Note exact about the "play calling" feature, but just something I noticed:
I like seeing the physics on the Steven Adams dunk as far as taking into account gravity, flight speed, acceleration phase, especially the 3D animation concept of "anticipation" into account, including the deceleration phase. It actually looked realistic.
Often times, a classic characteristic of Live's jump animation is that they don't respect 'jump physics' very much -- they simply shoot up lighting quick with no "animation anticipation" and their deceleration phase leaves a lot to be desired.
I'll have to see more dunk/jump physics to see if it's been fully corrected.

Re: Play Calling Short Video
Definitely peeped that Adam's dunk was no rocket dunk...been a long standing Live issue...would love if it was gone...
They missed Leonard step out of bounds though...
Everything else looked great! Love the step backs.

Re: Play Calling Short Video
Regarding playcalling, I was hoping I could simply cue up one specific player’s full arsenal of plays without having to be distracted by another teammates. I was hoping they would offer complete pages displaying only a single player’s plays. I want to only see Patrick McCaw’s plays without having to be distracted by seeing Klay’s or Steph.
Left a followup response comment on the video, but haven’t received a second confirmation on this issue.Comment

They still have that ugly distracting play art, they need to update it to make it more minimal looking.Xbox Series X: KILLMUNGERComment

Play Calling Short Video
I wonder if we have more than two options for formation this year... probably wishful thinking but that would be nice.
Also noticed a new option for at the bottom of the list for motion type offense? I wonder what kind of impact that will have on freelance offenses if any.
Overall the game looks improved and yeah, the step back jumpers are butter.
