I need confirmation before I jump to conclusions but how hard can t be to add roster editing in franchise! That should be a standard thing like trades etc.

Re: No editing in Franchise mode has been reported.
Here is you're confirmation, Ryan Santos mentioned that player editing in franchise is the community most requested feature and it's something they're looking into the future.

Re: No editing in Franchise mode has been reported.
Honestly, I would be thrilled if they add this feature to Live 19. I wouldn't honestly even need a WNBA franchise mode at that point. I could set my own trades and create my own rookies etc. That plus it being my favorite player, Kelsey Mitchell's rookie year... I'd be set for years lolComment

Re: No editing in Franchise mode has been reported.
How do I cancel a pre-order?
How to cancel depends on whether you paid immediately when you placed your pre-order or if you placed a “pay later” pre-order.
Spoiler
If you have started to download the main part of your order you cannot cancel it. Please note that download may happen automatically if you have enabled Automatic Download in your system settings.
After payment (immediate payment)
How long you have to cancel (cooling off period) depends on when you paid:
More than 14 days before main product release date
You can cancel up to the release date if you have not started to download2 the main part of the pre-order (or the pre-load file).
14 days or less before main product release date
You can cancel up to 14 days after placing the pre-order if you have not started to download2 the main part of the pre-order (or the pre-load file).
If you have not started to download the main product and your pre-order included immediately accessible extra content, this extra content will stop working if you cancel your pre-order and you will receive a refund to your wallet. If no additional content was included you will receive a refund to the original payment method where possible3.
Contact us to cancel your pre-order if you have paid.
Before payment (pay later)
You can cancel your pre-order via Account Management any time before payment is taken from your wallet. You will usually be charged two days before the expected release date although this can vary.
We will send you an email on the day we take payment to let you know that your wallet has been debited. If you have not been charged, you can cancel your pre-order by going to Transaction History on any devices activated on your account:
Go to your Transaction History - find out how to check your PlayStation Store transactions.
Find the pre-order that you want to cancel - the purchase date will be the date that you placed the pre-order.
If it is still before the release date there will be an option to cancel the pre-order.
After payment (pay later)
You can cancel your pre-order up to 14 days after your wallet was debited provided you have not started to download2 the main part of the pre-order.
Contact us to cancel your pre-order if you have paid.
2 This applies to auto-download as well as if you download from your download list.
3 We are unable to do this for certain payment methods. In those cases, we’ll refund to your wallet.

Re: No editing in Franchise mode has been reported.
Well, no purchase this season.
You start a franchise in Live and you are literally stuck with things remaining forever the same as they were the day you started. No one can be improved or changed, no major real world trades can be implemented (user control), guys who improve like Donovan Mitchell last season are stuck on their rookie rating and on and on.
$5 Mobile games have deeper franchise modes...
Really poor.Comment

Re: No editing in Franchise mode has been reported.
To clarify, roster editing (which was not in until it was added in a patch last year) is in the game. You just can't edit rosters (jersey numbers will be out of shape after trades) in franchiseComment
