Agreed. Didn't think I would be interested in playing Street before last year. But that is the only thing I enjoyed last couple years. This year I literally only played a couple NBA games. I couldn't do it. Felt weird, horrible commentary. With Street ball you can overlook things because you're not expecting simulation ball.

Honestly my expectations are not too high as others mentioned the ratings are really bad and the lineups. (They had Dario starting over Taj for a while I don't know if they fixed this yet). Also some players are way too high. The franchise mood needs a lot of work. Also I feel like The One is good so far but they should make Court Battles better. Not to mentioned the games feels way too animation based which can ruin a lot of moments.Comment

I'd say by E3/EA Play. They've always announced live stuff at EA play. If it's not at EA play this year then it's not happening.Comment

I never said Live is already canceled. I mean they always wait to the last minute to announce these type of things. If they are not at e3 it would mean the game is canceledComment

Re: What's your expectation for NBA Live 2020?
The NBA and the National Basketball Players Association agreed to an extension of their licensing agreement with Take-Two Interactive Software Inc. on Tuesday for their NBA 2K video game franchise.
The extension will allow Take-Two to continue producing NBA 2K games and using the likenesses of NBA players, but there is seemingly no exclusivity involved in the deal.
That means EA Sports will be allowed to continue on with the NBA Live series as well.

The problem is, your post was nothing more than FUD.
The NBA and the National Basketball Players Association agreed to an extension of their licensing agreement with Take-Two Interactive Software Inc. on Tuesday for their NBA 2K video game franchise.
There is no reason that story should have led to people speculating that Live is dead. But it was an opportunity some couldn't resist.Comment

Re: What's your expectation for NBA Live 2020?
Dude, everyone on this forum know what this deal mean except you. 2k is paying them more so the license can’t be affordable for Live. To be up the par with 2k, this means that Live will have to pay around $120 million a year. NBA is not going to cut them any slack just because they are not selling well
I agree with dude above. What are you talking about?
We are all assuming but 2ks deal probably has esports, arena marketing, nbatv etc included.Comment

Re: What's your expectation for NBA Live 2020?
Yeah, the idea that Live will be cancelled based on that announcement is pure speculation.
The idea Live could be cancelled after another year of subpar sales and the fact that well, it's been cancelled twice before is a valid concern.Comment

I actually like live and hope they continue with it. I like seeing multiple sports games but the future is not looking bright for multiple sports video gamesComment

So haven't really messed around to much with it.
But one thing stands out, commentary!
Really poor in this game.
Needs to be more immersive for 20
The only EA sports with good commentary are Madden, and that is just the last two years as they seemed to copy what 2K does, and Rory Golf, which was pretty well done, if a bit sparse, but pretty great for golf.
And NBA live 19 is among the worst. It really is bad, and it contributes to a pretty poor showing on the NBA side of the game. I'm glad the soo side does not have to suffer through it.Comment

Just some love for the Franchise modes.
Live 18 was my second most played game last year just because of how much I liked Live Run and I played it a bunch this year, but I'm bored of it. There's a significant advantage to being a Wing Shooter this year and that's what it usually comes down to when I play.
I've played maybe 55 H2H games this year. I've accepted and adapted to not playing Franchise in this game and just saving that for 2K where I play sim opposed to Live where I just run around and do bat-**** crazy stuff.
I think they have an audience they are/were catering to and it works, but only for so long. I follow a lot of the devs on social media and they seem like nice and hard working people and they care so I'll continue supporting the franchise if it keeps on, but I would like a good franchise mode so I don't have to buy 2K too.Comment

Jon Anik did a really nice job and recorded a ton, but whenever he throws to Rogan it's either some canned line we've been hearing since UFC 2 or dead silence (which is honestly pretty funny).Comment
