Is there a way to download your settings?
If I get time, I will try to post my sliders at some point. But can't share rosters, what a shame. Even without editing tendencies you can still improve the gameplay with roster edits.

Yes, please share. I've been checking out your posts for quite some time and interested in the assessments you've given on the game. Some of us still play Live and do have love for it.

I'll try to get the time to do it. My only playing time is late at night and I don't play every night.

Anyway, I play 12 min, Allstar, I think speed at 67. I play one one of the broadcasts views, don't remember which one, maybe ESPN.

I love moving the ball around or go to the basket and find the open man outside. CPU does it as well and JVG likes to comnent how both teams move the ball well and have lots of assists.

I get nice balanced game from the CPU - 3s, inside, postup and midrange. Some games the CPU takes 12-15 midrange shots, even had a game they took 19! Another game CPU took only 5, but for the most part the midrange is there.

And, yes, we're talking about 18.

Everything you stated sounds great man. Ball movement is a plus. On the mid-range...if I am correct, I want to say that it is probably the lowest utilized choice of fga's, anyway in today's style of play. Even low nights sound about right. BTW, Good to see that you are having variation in that area. I enjoy broadcast as well... definitely a fit. Hmm Live 18 sounding like the way to go.

Man, I just want something. If they're going to release the game, give us something. I'm losing patience.

It's starting to get a little worrisome that it's almost November and we haven't received any word about the game or whatever "Live 20" might be. Best case scenario is that they are working hard on the game and are waiting for the right time to blow us away with a reveal. Worst case scenario is that the game isn't going to be released and the series is on life support.

Other possible option is they are taking the year off and focusing entirely on next gen, which I would be completely OK with.

I'm all for that honestly. If they are fully committed to continuing the series, then i rather see them putting full focus on next gen and skipping the rest of this gen. That way, they can start off next gen right

Reports are Live is no where to be found in EA fourth quarter reportings. My guess is the game is cancelled or it comes out later than expected. Maybe All Star Weekend???

Will try to post sliders tonight or tomorrow.

Edited the Pelicans last night and played a game to test it. Only had time to play a half, but man Cousins and AD are a challenge! First qtr they led 35-12! Their D was amazing! Cousins was doing it all and even took 2 3pointers (he made 1). AD was quiet and just played D and took easy shots when Cousins was double-teamed. Holiday was a beast.

2nd qtr AD strated being more active, but I played better D, moved the ball better and James Ennis off the bench was getting hot and helped us to get the lead down to 10! Griffin and Drummond came back and started scoring as well and at the half we're down 12.

Had to end the game there, but it was great. Cousins was a beast and I saw a couple of amazing post moves from him I could not recreate. What a tough team to handle!

I expect them to say they are delaying it then cancel it in a few months. At least we can look at pictures of their courts on their official Twitter.

Yo I just saw that. What the actual...

all they really needed to do was add a couple archetypes, update the rosters, add in ranked team play, and they would have sold the same or more than last year. Were they somehow bleeding out money that badly? Is the NBPA some sort of a sign that they can't get rights?

Seriously, if you want a sentence that is going to make the veins pop out of your head its:

"We're excited by our progress but remain hyper ambitious- so we're not going to release NBA Live 20 this season." WOW. They need to hire someone else to write these things. What does that sentence even mean? Is it trying to put a positive spin on it?

WE GOT THIS GOOD GAME, BUT WE LOVE U FANS SO MUCH WE GONNA MAKE IT EVEN BETTER BEFORE WE RELEASE IT, DON'T WORRY.

I wish I hadn't made that joke about looking at courts and checked their twitter statement. That's some real soviet salt.

Great. So they are going to redo everything. Which means when they finally do release a game it won't sell well because it's been out of the market for so long. And it will likely play as clunky as NBA Live 18, because that's just what happens when you don't have years and years of a game being released and added on to. Just trash.

yea for like 3 dollars. haha. My ps4 stack is only bball games, but ps3... ps2, I kept all that stuff. I guess it adds up when you trade stuff in for a few bucks, but the only games I have that I would trade in are trash and probably so trash that they wouldn't give me anything for them.

And as I've said many times, some of those games, even sports games, which you think will always be getting better, are REALLY fun even now.

There's some reason they cancelled imo other than just 'game's not gonna be good enough.' Maybe it really was a licensing issue, but just being real goes so much further. Nobody is happy. Nobody wants to be cheered up. Just tell us what's going on and tell us a concrete plan for the future.

The reason I didn't think they'd delay then cancel is because, from what I understood... 09 was a good game, 10 was a good game, and elite well y'know... then up until 18 their games were mostly trash, so you can understand some of them getting cancelled. Now that they actually had a decent game out, it doesn't make any sense. Even if you are like these other trollish dudes who come in here like LOLOL LIVE CANCELLED TOLD U ITS TRASH... you have to admit there are much worse games that are not getting cancelled. But yea, in general, it's a pretty big downer.

One of 100 possible scenarios: They added some new (online?) gimmick(s) to 20 and worked on it for most of the development cycle. Then they brought in some focus groups and the reactions were mostly negative. Running out of time, they decided to take the year off and go back to the drawing board.

But now the challenge is even greater because gamers expect to be amazed with the new gen, nothing else will do.
