Sorry I missed this post. I haven't updated the sliders lately. The default sliders are getting much better and I am waiting to see how they progress with the Synergy tweaks. If you have specific questions let me know. For example, what are you aiming to adjust or what are you trying to achieve based on the current default sliders? Also, what game level are you playing with?

Re: How NBA Live 16 should have played out the box. New gameplay sliders.
Just an FYI for those who've inquired here and via PM, I have decided to finally invest more time into developing new gameplay sliders (although I believe a final patch is en route that may alter results along with daily Synergy updates).
Although Live 16 has obviously improved post patches, my goal, as usual, will be to tighten up the game even further on defense (trigger new animations, increase intensity and unpredictablility of cpu controlled players for all aspects of defense) while preserving or improving ( if there's an opportunity ) the inherent free flowing and dynamic offensive game.
The sliders will be created for Superstar level of play so stay tuned for the update. Later I will also determine if they'll suffice for All-Star level or if modifications need to be made to allow for this.
Again, always keep in mind the potential impact of Synergy on these sliders if you play Tip Off games ( does not impact Dynasty mode) . I will design them with flexibility in mind but can't guarantee they will always provide the best results in Tip Off mode.Last edited by Calvenn; 01-10-2016, 04:00 PM.Comment

Re: How NBA Live 16 should have played out the box. New gameplay sliders.
I have played the game sporadically for 3 consecutive days with these sliders and so far they've held up and scaled well with Tip Off games that undergo daily Synergy adjustments. Since the gameplay has been improved by the devs, IMO, there's less work to be done with slider modifications to achieve the desired objective. With that in mind, remaining close to default sliders is key to maintaining effectiveness and flexibilty. My main goal was to mainly tighten/improve human/cpu defense on Superstar gameplay difficulty. This has yielded increased human/cpu controlled player awareness and activity/intensity levels. You will/should witness alot more bumps and collisions around the perimeter and in the paint (easier to body the cpu and vise versa) as the players navigate the court. You will see good challenges for steals all over the court and more realistic blocks. This spices up the game and brings a level of unpredictability that's needed. You should also observe the unlocking of some new animations due to the increased pressure.
Scoring around the basket is no longer a given (effectiveness of hook shots, etc, should be reduced now) and patience, good ball rotations and or plays must be applied when operating on offense. In other words, if you aren't already playing this way, be prepared to quickly change your approach to the game or you will/may experience numerous frustrating moments (depending on how Synergy influences the game that day). Your perimeter, mid range and even inside scoring will be mainly predicated on creating spacing (achieved through this movement), between your man and the cpu defender or expect more misses, unless you have a superstar like Durant.
On offense for the cpu, these sliders allow the cpu to maintain its improved offensive game, meaning, good ball movement and effective interior, mid range and perimeter scoring.
Again, keep in mind, any changes to the sliders can make the game play quite differently than intended. If you MUST change the sliders, I recommend you do so a slider at a time, each time checking for results. These are early and in-progress sliders and by design, adjustments are very minimal for the aformentioned reasons and partly in order to also retain the dynamic free flow present with default sliders. I most likely will adjust them further as time progresses but don't expect to deviate much from this set. Finally, even though I have not used them in Dynasty mode yet, I expect them to be even better in this mode (based on past results), especially for the CPU, so also keep that in mind. As usual, post your results for the community. 2 options are provided below.
Superstar level Sliders
1) These sliders are the most balanced and allow for the best CPU ball movement on O.
USER/CPU
Layup Foul Frequency-60/60
Jostle vs Blow By-70/70
2) If you prefer a tighter post game and overall defense (my personal preference), add the sliders below to the above set of sliders. Ball movement is also competent.
Post Move-0/0 ( don't worry, your post moves will still be in tact just more challenging)
Dunk Frequency-40/40Last edited by Calvenn; 01-17-2016, 08:30 PM.Comment

Now would be a good time if you missed the $16 price tag a few weeks back. It's $29 at BB and Amazon
