ALL-STAR Sliders for Press Box CAM (with CPU Shot Control)

First off I want to say I'm a huge Basketball fan and love this years NBA Live game. I have looked at a few other slider threads and I really don't compare other people's sliders because we all play video games different in some kind of facet. So, essentially what I have done is create sliders that mimic two different styles of play.

I have balanced out the Gameplay to produe an uptempo style of play similar to the way the KINGS and MAVS play and a second set of sliders that are geared more towards defensive low scoring outcomes that you get with teams like the SPURS or PISTONS.

The sliders will look very similiar overall but you will notice the difference in the flow of the games and the two different styles of play. These sliders will closely resemble the difference between the two NBA conferences in terms of gameplay and statistics. You will see some ugly low scoring games and then some high octane outputs which brings out the overall realism that we see in todays NBA.

I will post these sliders within the next 24 hours. They are best utilized for those who play on Press Box CAM 10 minute ALL-STAR Level with CPU shot control. This view allowed me to see the entire court better and eliminate a small percent of the fast break problem.

I have looked at a few other slider threads and I really don't compare other people's sliders because we all play video games different in some kind of facet. So, essentially what I have done is create sliders that mimic two different styles of play and a neutral setting.

I have balanced out the Gameplay to produce an uptempo style of play similar to the way the KINGS and MAVS play and a second set of sliders that are geared more towards defensive low scoring outcomes that you get with teams like the SPURS or PISTONS.

These sliders will closely resemble the difference between the two NBA conferences in terms of gameplay and statistics. You will see some ugly low scoring games with the defensive set and then some high octane outputs if you use the offensive set which brings out the overall realism that we see in todays NBA. The 3rd column is just neutral sliders that doesn't favor either specific set yet allows a very good balance with both sets.

They are best utilized for those who play on Press Box CAM 10-12 minute ALL-STAR Level with CPU shot control set to ON. This view allowed me to see the entire court better and eliminate a small percent of the fast break problem.

*-Effects of my Global sliders broken down to assist with gameplay.

        *-Game Speed Sliders
(48)-Allows for more uptempo play in the Dallas and Sacremento mode.
(44)-Slower game pace geared more towards East Conf style of play.
(46)-Neutral setting doesn't favor either Conference or playing style.

*-FT Difficulty-(80-84)-Brings out realism better between good & bad FT shooters in the game.

*-Injury Freq-(60-62)-Only occurs during hard fouls. So it won't effect most games but when it does happen it will force you to adjust your lineup.

*-Fatigue Effect-(48-52)-Designed specifically for game play styles. 52 is highest setting because of course if your playing tough defense then your legs are tiring quicker than say a guy who is loafing defensively.

*-Charge/Block Foul-(75-80)-These are always judgement calls by the refs and usually in an NBA game it is called on average between 4-6 times a game. Lower setting just wasn't producing enough calls.

*-Shooting Fouls-(35-37)-Most shooting fouls occur when a player draws contact or a defender reaches in after he's beat.

*-Reach In Foul-(75-80)-This is one of the most common calls in the NBA. Don't get discouraged if it happens early with high setting because it will balance out foul ratio between User/CPU and helps to get teams in bonus situations more often by the end of a half or qtr.

*-In Air Collision-(75-80)-Most shooting fouls is a direct result of the shooter drawing contact. This will occur more often in the paint like it should.

sorry for the margins it was late and I was getting sleepy. So, I wasn't drunk or anything so don't let the sliders fool you. They are really good for anyone that uses the Press Box Cam (In my opinion the best gameplay view) and CPU shot control thats why I didn't jack up shooting range for human. I let the CPU's natural ratings play more into the game even though some people might shy away it works extremelly well.

I realize theres a certain comfort level on this forum with sliders and old faces that create sliders. I don't have a problem with that becuase some guy's have built a good reputation on the boards for there slider work in the past.

However, it only takes 1 scrimmage game of your time to decide if any set is worth playing. Like I said these are solid sliders especially if you play with the settings I listed above for Press Box Cam and CPU shot control ON. If you don't like them it's no big deal there's always other sliders posted here and these would only take up maybe 40 minutes of your time and you don't even have to use them in a regular game if you fear they will mess up your stats........just give them one shot you actually might be surprised.

I don't agree with changing the sliders everytime depending on the opponent your facing, though your global sliders are right on the mark.

The sliders will look very similiar overall but you will notice the difference in the flow of the games and the two different styles of play. These sliders will closely resemble the difference between the two NBA conferences in terms of gameplay and statistics.

Here they are my All-Star Sliders designed for three types of play Up-tempo, Halfcourt and a neutral playing style that doesn't favor either set.

1st Column is Offense/2nd Column is Defense/3rd Column is Neutral

Your not changing the sliders every game. I just listed three different sets that all play really good basketball. I came up with a set for people that only like to play with an uptempo pace and a set for people who love a slower pace that prefer more half court stlye basketball.

In short they allow you to decide what style of play better fits what your looking for and all three still give different results and game play from game to game. For instance if you decide to play a franchise with the Uptempo sliders it doesn't mean every game will be a Sacramento vs Dallas type shootout because you still have teams that don't have the shooters those two teams have yet with game speed at 48 I feel those two teams are better representive during game play because at the lower game speed settings it seems to turn Dallas into a halfcourt setup the offense stlye of team and thats is not the case with them at all.
