i tried the slider it good but what exact function or role of the boundary force field slider. What does it control and is it better to have it high or low. I played low and high and i see no difference

these look good except i am getting a low CPU shot %.

        I have the following:

        short 52
        med 50
        long 48

i do get shafed on the threes sometimes but it can be realistic. arenas was 6-8 against me. however, overall the cpu shots in the low to mid 40% with these.

Here's a run down of the NBA this year and just to compare where the teams are shooting overall. Take a close look and you'll see that the low to moi 40's is actually very close to todays game.

This is a list of teams currently shooting under 44% from the FG

            Washington-.424
            Orlando-..437
            Dallas-.433
            New York-.437
            Philadelphia-.420
            Memphis-.436
            Denver-.429
            Portland-.422
            Chicago-.408
            Atlanta-.437
            Golden St-.395
            New Orleans-.413
            Houston-.433
            New Jersey-.404

Just about half the league shoots under 44% from the fg.

Now take a look at the top five 3pt shooting teams and their average.

            1)Seattle-.396
            2)Milwaukee-.390
            3)Indiana-.390
            4)Denver-.383

I just dropped in to say thanks because I can't belive how perfect the stats are now that I sorted the steals out. I'm averaging 94 points, .436%fg, 34%3pt, 43 reb, 12 off 5 blocks, 8 steals, 24 fouls shots etc etc. It's really great.

Finally T-Mac is getting some rebounds as well! Before, only my big guys would get the rebounds and average about 10 a game, while all my other guards would only average like 2. Now Yao is averaing 9, howard 10, mcgrady 4, jackson 6 etc.

I wish that everyone wouldn't be so ignorant and try your sliders man. Just because you're not one of the 'regular' names, they wont try them out. But it's their loss dude, not ours!

Thanks for making my NBA Live a whole lot better! These are PERFECT for my playing style!
Thanks for the feedback. I realize everyone has certain things they like and dislike about sliders. I tinkered with these often and for the most part they play solid basketball. I would reccomend though if you haven't already to edit the shot blocking of all PG's, SG's and SF's it is the reason why i can play with ON Ball Physical Defense at 25. I think if you lower it too much then you are able to backdown anyone in the post even if you have Shawn Bradley on offense. So, it keeps the low post game tough on the human player yet with the shot block edits perimeter guys can still shake free and get off legitimate shots without the high block shot totals.

Also, take a look at your shooting %'s that you posted...I posted in the reply above this one a breakdown of the NBA stats so far to date. You are really close to the NBA average in both of those categories. Hopefully the sliders will continue to be solid for you throughout your dynasty.

Re: ALL-STAR Sliders for Press Box CAM (with CPU Shot Control)

I made a couple more changes.

                        Human/CPU On Ball Physical Defense-15/22
                        Shooting Foul-33
                        Block/Charging Foul-85
                        In Air Collision Foul-82
                        Reach In-77
                        Human/CPU Dunk-Layup Block-6/8

Here's why I made the changes after playing quite a bit over the past few days. This might not be something everyone likes to do but before every game I always set the defensive matchups for both teams. I usually set defensive pressure to either low or medium never high on any player. I like to set it at medium for guy's defending star players and low for guy's defending average or below average players. It helps to create spacing and free up more perimeter jump shots for both Human and CPU jump shooters.

With shooting fouls lowered to 33 most of the fouls will be called on plays in the low post if contact is initiated and you'll start seeing a few more blocking/charging calls. Also instead of changing sliders based on specific team style of play I only change game speed to either 46 or 48. The lower speed I use if I'm playing teams that play more halfcourt sets like Sam Antonio and Detroit teams that like to slow a game down. I switch it to 48 if teams like Phoenix, Seattle, Sacramento or Denver is playing because the 48 speed allows those teams to get up and down the court better and you'll see a slight difference in the pace of games. All other sliders remained the same accept for the aboved mentioned changes.
