Here's some games from this past saturday that kinda gives you an idea of what i was trying to accomplish with these sliders in gameplay. You should notice the amount of FT's and Team Fouls that were called in these games.
Nuggets-90.............(34/76 FG% .447, 21/23 FT's, 25 Team Fouls)
Spurs-99................(36/72 FG% .500, 22/32 FT"s, 21 Team Fouls)
New York-79...........(30/77 FG% .390, 16/24 FT's, 21 Team Fouls)
Cleveland-104.........(40/76 FG% .526, 18/25 FT's, 22 Team Fouls)
Indiana-101............(32/76 FG% .421, 33/42 FT's, 28 Team Fouls)
Dallas-121..............(40/73 FG% .548, 37/40 FT's, 31 Team Fouls)
N.Jersey-101..........(35/87 FG% .402, 26/33 FT's, 30 Team Fouls)
Orlando-104...........(35/78 FG'% .474, 24/34 FT's, 21 Team Fouls)
Minnesota-114........(42/88 FG% .477, 24/27 FT's, 26 Team Fouls)
Washington-117......(40/88 FG% .474, 29/36 FT's, 21 Team Fouls)
I posted this just so people can see that the entire NBA has had an increase in FT's attempted this year. Partly because Refs are not allowing the hand checks anymore, they are calling more reach in fouls and usually if there's contact in the paint they are blowing the whistle this year.
Some people might think that it slows the flow of the game down in Live 05 but I tend to differ withthat theory. I believe that it keeps the game close to what it is in the real NBA if fouls are being called. I haven't seen many games that both teams go most of a quarter without attempting a FT or being called for a foul.
